John 14:6
God has a path, a way, a route and a pattern for each of our lives to follow.
While all human beings have similarities and things in common, each human being is unique.
Our story, our journey, and our route in life will be different from one person to the other.
Your life's blueprint is different from other peoples life blueprint.
God has a unique plan and path for you, the same way He had for Jesus Christ.
The role, the purpose, and path of Jesus in life and history is unique.
He is the Messiah, He was the Messiah to come of the old testament prophecies.
He is the manifestation of those old testament prophecies.
John 1:14
Jesus Christ is the focus of the Bible and the scriptures show us the plan, purpose, way and pattern of God for Jesus's life.
Like Jesus, God has a book for your life.
Hebrews 10:7
There is a prophecy of your life.
1 Timothy 1:18
There is a way and path your life must go.
Proverbs 14:12
That way and path is in Jesus Christ for He is the Way.
To find Jesus Christ is to be chosen, to be chosen is to make and accept Jesus as your way.
This is the narrow way many reject.
This is the narrow way many do not find.
Matthew 7:13,14
It is the way of faith and absolute trust in the Lord.
It may not always be the easiest way but there is always help for this journey, there's help for the chosen.
God is our present help in time of need.
Psalm 46:1
The mistake a lot of people make is allowing themselves to get distracted by what's happening in the lives of other people.
We compare ourselves out of a lack of contentment, not realizing other peoples timing, life and purpose is different to ours.
1 Timothy 6:6
When Peter the disciple was comparing himself with John the disciple by asking Jesus what Jesus's plan was for John, the question came just shortly after Peter had been told by Jesus what was in his future and the manner of death he would have, Jesus asked Peter what his business was with John, He told Peter to focus on his own assignment and path.
Jesus told Peter what does it have to do with Peter if He chooses to keep John on earth and John never sees death.
John 21:20-23
Like Peter we can be curious about what God is doing for others and how their lives are going.
The downside of that kind of attitude is that it distracts and it incites jealousy/envy.
What Jesus told Peter is good advise for us, lets focus on our own path and assignment.
