The Battles Beyond Us

 Revelation 12:17

Spiritual warfare is an aspect of life.

It can be inherited and for some people it starts in the womb.

Spiritual warfare can also choose a person/people.

Winning in life and through eternity is not by human power.

There are battles that are beyond us.

There are battles we cannot win if God doesn't help us.

There are battles we cannot tackle if not for divine intervention.

There are battles that have a head start on our lives because the enemy and enemies we are dealing with are beyond mere human beings, they are ancient, generational spirits.

These are forces that have been around, walked this earth and have transverse the heavens long before we were born, long before we were aware of ourselves, or the fact fact there's a battle on our hands.

Jabeez was an individual who found himself living unfortunately, until God intervened; giving him a change of story after he prayed.

Jabeez's warfare started from birth, perhaps in the womb.

1 Chronicles 4:9,10

How does a mere human being win when his/her life's challenges comes from demons or fallen angels?

Ephesians 6:12

How does flesh and blood prevail against evil spirits?

How does an individual who operates mere common sense and intellect stand a chance against the gates of hell?

Jesus Christ our Lord showed us the key.

The key, the way out is to become an individual who is supernatural.

John 3:6-8

Jesus defeated the forces that come against us today.

Colossians 2:15

He made an open show of principalities and powers, defeating them as a man.

Jesus defeated the gates of darkness as a man but not as a mere man.

He did so as a supernatural man.

He achieved that with supernatural power, divine authority and grace at work.

If you are going to stand a chance against the forces that pull men down, the forces that reduce the value of men, the powers of evil who steal, kill, and destroy in people's lives you will need what was at work in Jesus when he walked this earth.

Jesus power is what we need to win in life's affairs.

Luke 10:19

The powers of God that was at work in Jesus as a man can be at work in a believer too.

When Jesus walked this earth He was a hundred percent man and a hundred percent God at the same time, this is called the hypostatic union.

If the power at work in God can be at work in men, it means men have a hope of walking in God-like power on earth.

We taste of this power from here on earth.

Hebrews 6:5

This part of the hope that Jesus brought to men.

Not only can we receive the power of God, we can grow in it.

The Holy Spirit who we receive who is also the Spirit of Jesus comes with power.

Acts 1:8

This power gives boldness to stand up for Jesus.

Acts 4:13

This power brings freedom.

This power helps us live right.

This power makes us win in life's battles.

Faith is an aspect of this power.

This power is one the reasons we need the Holy Spirit and His ministry in our lives.

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself.
