The Power At Work In You

 Ephesians 3:20

Our text scripture passage shows us there is a power at work in the sons of God, the believer.

May we know this power and may we use it.

May this power come alive in us and rise up within us.

The power within us is God given, it's from God and it is meant to be used.

God would have us do exploits and accomplish wonderful things to His glory.

When I meditate on our text passage big things come to mind, increase comes to mind, marvelous things come to mind as what God wants to do through us.

Marvelous things are achievements or happenings that are beyond what men can think or imagine, they are wonderful happenings.

Our passage says God will work with the power at work within us to do exceedingly (this refers to largeness and big sizes)

God will do abundantly (this is multiplication or increase)

He will do above all we ask (more than we ask for in prayer)

He will also do more than we think (more than we can imagine , meditate, or visualize)

God will do all these things according to the power at work within us (the power at work in the believer)

It's this power that makes us effective.

It's this power that strengthens us.

It's not human power neither is it mere mental power.

Zechariah 4:6

This power at work in us was the power at work in Jesus, it was in greater dimensions in Jesus Christ.

Without this power we can't do much.

John 15:5

This power is Jesus power!

This power has different aspects to it:

i. It is grace

2 Corinthians 12:9

ii. It is God's presence

Matthew 28:20

iii. It is power put in our inner man

Ephesians 3:16

iv. It is the mind of Christ

1 Corinthians 2:16

v. It is wisdom

Luke 21:15

vi. It is fire

Matthew 3:11

vi. It is the gifts of the Holy Spirit

1 Corinthians 12:1-11

It is supernatural power, it is divine power at work in human beings, the believers; in the sons of God.

Know this power, be conscious of it, grow in it, and use it to Godly glory!

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...

Healing For Your Soul Wounds!

Malachi 4:2 Your soul is a vital part of your life. Your soul is part of who you are. Your soul needs to function well for things to go well with you. Your prosperity is linked to your soul. 3 John 2 Your soul is the decision making center of your life. God cares about the state of your soul. God created your soul and wants your soul to function well. It is the will of God that your soul is preserved until the coming back of Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Your soul is made up of your will, your mind and your emotions. You need your will, your mind and your emotions to function properly and to be regarded as a well balanced human being. Your soul is valuable and the enemy wants it. Your soul is part of the reason you are saved and a part of God's kingdom. 2 Corinthians 4:3,4 We are spirits who have a soul and live in a body.
