Grace And The Second Coming Of Christ

 Genesis 6:1-8

Our text passage shows us Noah found grace with God in his day.

That is why Noah and his family were not victims of the flood of his day which wiped out and destroyed a lot.

As Noah needed grace in his time, we need grace for today.

We need grace to be exempted from the evils and negativity of our time.

It is by grace that we make it when Jesus comes back for His people, His church.

This occurrence known as the second coming of Jesus Christ leads to the rapturing of the church/God's people.

1 Thessalonians 4:16,17

Be reminded, Jesus is coming back!

The second coming of Christ Jesus is an event that will change the course of this world in a way and on a scale that hasn't been seen before.

It will change the course of events on this earth.

After the departure of the church/people of God from the earth, there will be a season of three and a half years of prosperity and peace under the global leadership of the anti-Christ, this will be followed by another three and a half years of darkness under the same leadership of the anti-Christ.

Revelation 13

The anti-Christ is a false Messiah , he is Satan's answer to Jesus Christ.

The days of Noah can be likened to the end times we are in right now.

Matthew 24:37-40

Many people today take the message and warning of being prepared for Jesus's second coming for granted just the same way many took the warnings from God through Noah as a joke.

Some take the warning/message for granted because they have heard it so many times, perhaps since childhood and their parents told them they've heard the same message from their own parents since childhood.

It's a generational message that is being passed down from one generation to the other but it doesn't change the fact that Jesus will show up suddenly like a thief of the night.

Noah was repeating the message and warning of a coming flood for almost one hundred years but he was taken for granted by those around him.

Genesis 6:1-10

What those who were being warned by Noah didn't understand is that the message/warning of the flood was the grace of God being extended to them.

It is a privilege and great grace from God to hear the message and warning that Jesus is coming back and we should be ready for it.

The rain fell as Noah had warned.

Prepared for it, Noah and his family were safe in the ark he had built.

The rain flooded away most of the known world at the time.

Noah escaped the wrath of God upon the earth in his day because he found grace before God.

The ark of Noah did not sink but it floats on the waters until the flood and rain subsided.

The ark was built according to God's instruction/direction.

When we follow God's direction and instructions for us we will not sink in life.

As Noah escaped by grace, we also need the grace of God to escape the wrath to come.

It's by grace (God's Spirit) that we escape when Jesus comes.

We escape the anti-Christ and his government by grace, it is by grace we make it when Jesus comes.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
