Mercy Found Me

 John 5:1-9

The man by the pool of Bethesda was found by God's mercy.

Jesus Christ is the mercy of our heavenly Father personified.

He was full of grace and truth.

John 1:14

Grace + Truth = Mercy

Grace is the God factor in a human life.

Truth is the person of God and the revelation of God.

John 14:6

When a person benefits from God's grace and experiences God's truth, it can be said that Mercy found that person.

If you are saved, if you have Jesus, mercy has found you.

Everyone who received miracles from Jesus was a beneficiary of God's mercy.

Mercy causes miracles.

Mercy makes miracles happen.

Miracles brings a new joy.

Acts 8:7,8

A new joy causes a new song.

Psalm 33:3

The mercy of God preserves lives and destinies.

The mercy of God can also bring people into their destinies.

David would have remained a shepherd boy in his fathers' service , perhaps all his life if not for God's mercy.

David was a great beneficiary of God's mercy.

Isaiah 55:3

God's mercy brought the anointing to David.

God's mercy took David from following sheep.

2 Samuel 7:8

David wasn't seeking to be anointed king.

Mercy brings to you what others fight and kill for.

The anointing meant David would be king and he became king against all odds.

The anointing is an empowerment money cannot buy.

Money cannot buy the anointing but mercy delivers it.

The man by the pool of Bethesda got a healing and deliverance other afflicted people had to struggle to get into the pool for and wait till the next time the angel stirs the pool.

He was singled out by Jesus out of many afflicted people by that pool side.

John 5:1-3

Mercy grants us what money cannot buy.

There's nothing we can do to earn the mercy of God.

This is why there's no room for envy and jealousy in the kingdom of God, we are who we are by God's grace.

We are beneficiaries of God's mercy.

If it is from mercy, grace, or faith you can't boast about it. It's from God.

When Jesus healed and delivered the man by the pool, the man became positioned to make progress in life.

He could now move on from where he was to better things.

Mercy positions us for progress.

Mercy brings healing and deliverance.

Mercy singles us out for what others want and labor for.

Mercy makes our dreams come true.

By mercy, we can flourish.

Jesus came for you.

He didn't come for angels, He came for you.

Hebrews 2: 16-18

That is the mercy of God.

Mercy places value on us.

If you choose or have the salvation Jesus offers, mercy has found you.

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
