Flourishing By The Seed

 Mark 4:26-33

Plants are products of seeds.

Plants are the best example we can use to describe what it means to flourish.

Seeds defy odds, they grow, evolve, and flourish into useful plants that benefit humanity.

The uniqueness of seeds is that they do not look the same when they germinate or become fully grown.

They "die" and germinate and grow into what is the opposite of the seed that was put into the soil.

Seeds have tremendous potential.

Seeds bring about continuity and sustainability.

We are likened to spiritual plants in scripture.

Our lives are very much like seeds in this imperfect world, we are conceived in the womb through fertilization from the seed of our fathers, we defy odds to be born, we grow and evolve in every area of life to become adults who are useful to our families, our community and the world.

As seeds flourish to become beneficial to the world, God wants us to flourish too and be beneficial to Him and humanity.

This is how God is glorified in our lives.

The concept of seeds are God's idea, God's wisdom in the earth.

Seeds are the beginning of most things.

Seed sowing and harvest is a law that is here to stay.

The beginning of every garden started with a seed.

The genesis of every farm land or plantation is seeds.

We are likened to gardens, farmlands, God's plantation.

Isaiah 58:11

We are seed-like and created full of seeds.

Your ideas are seeds.

Your words are seeds.

Your imagination are seeds.

Your time is a seed.

Your love is a seed.

Your prayer is a seed.

Your finances are seeds.

Your praise is a seed.

Your faith is a seed.

Your gifts and talents are seeds.

Your intelligence is a seed.

Your uniqueness is a seed.

Jesus Christ is the seed of God planted into the world.

John 3:16

Your seed is that which you can give.

God respects the law of the seed, for seed time and harvest will not fail as long as the earth remains.

Genesis 8:22

It is a fact that if a seed is sown into good ground, watered, and tended to, in due time it will flourish and produce harvests.

This is what God wants for you.

John 15:1-5

The words of God are seeds sown into our hearts which are meant to germinate, grow, and bring forth (flourish).

Matthew 13:8

Through our seeds we can flourish and prevail.

The divine nature in the followers of Jesus is a product of God's Seed in us.

2 Peter 1:4

Jesus (the seed of God) came into the world at a strategic time and was strategically positioned by God in the nation of Israel at a unique season.

If Jesus came at a different time and was born into a different nation the impact of His dead would have been different.

God the Father is wise and strategic.

His timing is perfect and His process can be trusted.

May we be wise like God our Father.

May we be strategic with where we invest our seeds.

The kingdom of God is likened to a seed.

Mark 4:26-33

The kingdom of God starts small but grows into the biggest.

It becomes a force to be reckoned with.

Faith functions the same way, it is the way of the kingdom of God.

 Matthew 17:20,21

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
