Revelation 4:11
Our ultimate aim in life should be to please God, our Creator.
The reason we have been created and came into this world is for the pleasure of God.
Whoever and whatever God is pleased with attracts God's blessings and benevolence.
Pleasuring God attracts His presence.
Requests made to God or prayers that God is pleased with will not only get answered but manifest more than what we asked from God in terms of results and testimonies.
A great example of this is seen in the life story of Solomon the wise king and son of king David.
Solomon was a young prince who had just stepped into the 'shoes' of his father who was a legend in every sense of the word.
It was a huge responsibility for any young man to step up to.
Aware of the huge task of leading God's people ahead of him, Solomon asked for wisdom when God presented him with an opportunity that can be likened to being given a blank check by God Himself.
Solomon's request for wisdom pleased God and that was the start of Solomon's distinction as a king and as a man.
1 Kings 3:5-14
It doesn't matter how fervent, loud, and physically dramatic a person's prayer may be; if it doesn't please God it is a waste of time.
Anything that glorifies God pleasures God.
Nature and creation declares the glory of God.

After creation, God was satisfied and took pleasure in all He created. God saw that they were good.
Genesis 1:31
