Your Garment Of Fire!

Luke 3:16 Fire is an attribute of God. Our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:29 As people created in the image and likeness of God you should be fire too, spiritually you should be wrapped in the fire of God. Genesis 1:26 The Holy Spirit is associated with fire. The Holy Spirit manifested as fire on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:1-4 Jesus is described as one who baptises in fire. John the Baptist came baptizing with natural water, Jesus Christ who is greater than John the Baptist came baptizing with something greater - spiritual fire! When the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Jesus Christ) baptizes with power, He comes engulfing or dressing up the individual in a garment of fire. That's what happened on the day of Pentecost. Those is the upper room were dressed up in garments of fire though its only flames/tongues that were seen on the heads of those present. Their bodies were clothed in the fire as well! Your garment of fire is an empowerment. Acts 1:8 It empowers...

Your Armor Of Light!.

Ephesians 6:13-18 Light is the first thing God spoke into existence. Genesis 1:3 Light is of great importance in the Spirit and physical realms. Light is of such great value, Jesus Christ identified  with it. John 8:12 The Bible tells us God is wrapped in light. 1 Timothy 6:16 God is a God who surrounds Himself in light. Light shines forth from God. Man (male and female) is created in the image and likeness of God. Genesis 1:26 The first man and woman were wrapped in garments of glory, that's why they didn't know they were naked. Genesis 3:7 You have to have the right outfit on in the spirit realm to be God like. There are different robes or garments God has made provision for His children to wear. One of such outfits is your armor of light. Each spiritual clothing has it's own purpose. The purpose of your armor of light is to fight a victorious warfare. Ephesians 6:12 To contend effectively with master spirits in the heavenly places, to contend wit...

Don't Fear Them

Jeremiah 1:8 You are not created to live a life of fear. It is possible to live a fear free life. It is no surprise Jesus always encouraged people to fear not. Matthew 14:27 Fear acts as a spiritual and emotional cage. Fear works against your progress and well being. Fear puts a limit on our life. Fear is a waster. On life's journey there are experiences, situations, challenges, people, and circumstances that may cause you to fear. Fear can be overcome and should be overcome. 2 Timothy 1:7 The only fear permitted in your life is the fear of God. Ecclesiastes 12:13 This is a different kind of fear. This type of fear is a healthy, respectful, reverence of God. It is a fear/reverence put in us by God when we choose Him. Fear is one of the arrows of the enemy meant to stop you. It has a freezing effect. Psalm 91:5 Fear stings and freezes people in one spot. Fear limits your potential, cages your talents, robs you of your future and denies you of the opportunitie...

Reversing Satanic Trends

Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 It is not everything that happens to you that you should accept at face value. It is not everything happening to humanity that God wished for or planned that way. There are tragedies, challenges, difficulties, and set backs that should be rejected and prayed against. God has great plans for your life, the enemy also has evil plans for your life. 1 Peter 5:8 While God takes us through process to develop us, it is not everything people go through that is necessarily from God. Matthew 13:28 When certain challenges, trials, difficulties, and set backs are in our life and have lasted longer than we can endure; it is a flood of the enemy to take us out. When our lives are following certain patterns or trends that we cannot explain and we have done everything to change it all to no avail, it is obvious the enemy is at work. Revelation 12:15 Suffering, hardship, and challenges should have an expiry date. 1 Peter 5:10 If an individual has been going through ...

Your Garment Of Glory

Exodus 28:2 In the old testament the priests of God were arrayed in robes that were glorious and beautiful. The purpose of these unique robes was to make them (priests) distinct from the other children of Israel. The priestly garment was something of a glorious uniform priests wore which reveals they are set apart, called and distinguished for God's service. In Christ Jesus we are spiritual priests. 1 Peter 2:9 So there is a garment of glory in the spirit realm that shows who those in Christ Jesus are. God is a God of uniqueness and variety. God is a God who sets apart and distinguishes. The scriptures is full of evidence of this. He distinguishes between people, nations, siblings, miracles and achievements. In Jacob's family, God put a distinction upon Joseph among Jacob's children. This distinction was further evidenced by the coat/garment of many colors Jacob gave to Joseph who is his favorite son. Joseph's gift- the coat/garment of many colors repre...

You Are God's Surprise

Matthew 27:14 Every child of God's kingdom has the potential to manifest as a positive surprise on the earth. Every son and daughter of God is supposed to manifest on the earth at some point. Romans 8:22-24 When your season of manifestation comes, you will become a positive surprise to many people around you. After a  positive encounter with God, Moses at the age of 80 began to manifest as a prophet of God and a deliverer of God's people. Exodus 3:1-17 There are those you are meant to be a blessing to on this earth according to God's purposes. It was after David the young shepherd contacted the anointing that his life began to move forward until He became king. He went from exploit to exploit, and achievement to achievement. 1 Samuel 16:12,13 David became an amazement not only to his family, the royal household and administration of king Saul but the nations of Judah and Israel too. Gideon was from the smallest tribe of God's chosen people and he was th...

A God Of Positive Surprises

2 Kings 7:9-17 God is a God who schedules surprises into the life of His people. God has good plans for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 Part of that good plan God has for you are positive surprises. Since God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or think He does it in a way that is a positive surprise to His people. When God does exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or think it turns out to be a positive surprise to the recipient. Ephesians 3:20,21 When Jesus turned water into wine it was a positive surprise to the groom and the chairman of the occasion. John 2:8,9 What could have been a time of insufficiency, lack, difficulty, and embarrassment turned into a moment of praise, sufficiency, and satisfaction because Jesus Christ got involved. When David killed Goliath, forty days of harassment came to an end for the Israelites. 1 Samuel 17:16 That day turned out a positive surprise for those in God's camp because God was on the side of a youn...

The power Of godly compassion

Colossians 3:12 Compassion is a godly quality. Compassion is a virtue and quality greatly needed in today's day and age. Godly compassion has great purpose in it. God is a compassionate God who has great compassion towards His world and His creation. John 3:16 God is compassionate towards those of His household - His heavenly and earthly family. Ephesians 4:32 Ephesians 3:15 If you are in Christ Jesus you are a member of God's household and kingdom. Luke 12:32 God is a responsible Father, a very family minded Spirit. The idea/concept of family started with God and is from God. Hebrews 12:9 If you are a member of God's family you have become God's responsibility and God has become your true source. As a member of God's family you have God's compassion. Romans 9:15 God is compassionate towards you. We have to be compassionate to others as well, especially those of God's household/kingdom. Empathy, compassion, and mercy are qualities gre...

EMPATHY: A GREAT KEY

Ephesians 4:32 Empathy is an aspect of compassion. Empathy leads to compassion. Love produces empathy. 1 Peter 3:8 Compassion is a great quality. Compassion is a great virtue every true Christian should have. Empathy is the ability to feel what another person is feeling with the ability to put yourself in the position of that individual, to sympathetically know what that individual is going through. Romans 12:15 Empathy is evidence your heart is circumcised. Romans 2:25-29 Jesus Christ  was a very compassionate man. Luke 7:13 Jesus must have been a very empathetic individual. Empathy comes from the heart, it has to do with the type of heart you have and it's state. False prophets and ministers are individuals who are not compassionate or empathetic to Gods sheep. They are out to fleece the sheep and flock of God. Their hearts have been seared. 1 Timothy 4:2 Individuals who are empathetic won't cheat, rob, deceive or mistreat other people or animals. They...

True Liberation

Romans 8:21 Liberation is what the Lord wants for you. Liberation was so important Jesus Christ came. You are not created to be bound. You are created to be free - free to make your own choices, free to fulfill the dreams God has put in your heart, free to exercise dominion, free to make progress, and free to be who God has created you to be. You are not supposed to be a slave to any man or spirit. You need to be free to enjoy God's blessing. Genesis 1:26,28 God can bless you with certain things, but if you are bound how will you enjoy them? You need liberty to enjoy the things God has given you. When God created the first human (Adam), God created and intended a life of freedom, blessings, and choices for Adam. Genesis 2:15-17 God's intention for you is not different. You are created to be free, you are created to be blessed, and you must make sure you are liberated in every area where you feel you are bound. To be liberated is simply to be set free. God wan...

The Treasures Of Darkness

Isaiah 45:3 God gave king Cyrus the treasures of darkness. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The God who opened doors for Cyrus the great is still the same, He can do open doors for you too. Hebrews 13:8 He is the God who takes the beggar from the dunghill and sets him among princes. 1 Samuel 2:8 The treasures of darkness answers to God's anointing. The treasures of darkness comes when God opens the double gates of breakthrough and opportunity. You need God's anointing! The anointing sets you free. When the anointing comes, yokes are destroyed, burdens are removed, and you become free to prosper. Isaiah 10:27 The anointing guides, speaks and directs. John 16:13,14 The anointing is the presence of God in the form of the Holy Spirit within a person that enables that person to function in an assignment or a spiritual office. There is power in the anointing to set free and also to prosper. Deuteronomy 8:18 The anointing upon Cyrus life made him pr...

The Anointing Of Cyrus

Isaiah 45:1 The text passage above informs us that Cyrus the great was an anointed man. You need the anointing too! Just like you, Cyrus was chosen by God before He was born. Just like you, God already had a prophetic plan for Cyrus's life before his life started on earth. His life was prophesied by a prophet of God before He was born. Just like you, Cyrus had the grace of God upon his life. Isaiah 45:5 Cyrus was anointed just like you are, if you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. Just like many of us were until God saved us, Cyrus didn't know the Lord. He was set on his own way like a ravenous bird but God had a purpose for him. Isaiah 45:4,5 1 Corinthians 1:26 Let's consider the grace & anointing upon Cyrus : 1. He had the grace and anointing to build . Cyrus was a master builder. Ezra 1:1-4 You will need the grace and anointing to build too. We are all builders. Life is likened to erecting a building. We are all building som...

The Two Leaved Gates

Isaiah 45:1 Our text passage above shows us God was the one who opened the "two leaved gates" unto king Cyrus. Cyrus was a great man. Cyrus was a great conqueror. Cyrus was a great emperor. Cyrus was a great king who had many other kings at his command and beck and call. Cyrus was the founder of the Persian empire, an empire which enjoyed a lot of influence and dominion. Cyrus was a man of many firsts in his leadership politically. Cyrus was a great builder whose empire boasted of some of the choicest properties. Cyrus was used of God for the building of the Jerusalem temple. Ezra 1:2 The concept of the constitution that countries operate with to govern today was started by king Cyrus. The Cyrus Cylinder or Cyrus Charter was the first constitution on earth to govern nations. I have seen it before at the British Museum. The Persian empire was one of the great empires that has existed here on earth. Cyrus achieved all this glory because God opened the two leav...

The Double Blessing!

Isaiah 61:7 God is a God who blesses. The gospel is a gospel of blessing. We cannot talk about the love of God and the goodness of God without considering His ability to bless. God blesses because He is good and He is the blessed One. 1 Timothy 6:15 Not only does God bless, He can also give double blessings. A double blessing is a blessing that gives significantly more to an individual or people over others. Elisha the prophet received significantly more than the sons of the prophet. He received a double portion blessing in the form of double of Elijah's spirit. Benjamin, the youngest son of Jacob/Israel received much more gifts and also food at Joseph's table over his older siblings. The double portion of God's blessing was at work for Benjamin. Rebecca was compensated with twins (two sons) after a season of being barren. That is a double portion blessing. There is nothing wrong with wanting more or having more. The blessing manifests as more or double wh...

The Good Spirit

1 John 4:1 We should not believe every spirit but there is one good Spirit we should believe. We are in times when we must be able to differentiate between good people and bad people, good influences and bad influences, good spirits and bad spirits. We are in times when we must be able to discern between good ministries and ministers and bad ministries and ministers. We are in the end times where there is an increase of the fake and an increase in hypocrisy. We are in times where there is a need to operate in superior discernment. 1 Corinthians 12:10 The Bible informs about the chameleon like nature of Satan. He is a master deceiver who is able to come across as being of God. His agents are the same since Satan is the one who influences and empowers them. 2 Corinthians 11:14 A person cannot act better than the influence at work in him or her. John 8:44,45 We need to be influenced by the good Spirit. The good Spirit is the Holy Spirit. Why Is He Good ?  The Holy S...

The Good Seed

Matthew 13:1-9 The seed is a very powerful concept. The idea of the seed principle is divine, God established it Himself. Seed sowing is one of the powerful laws on earth. Sowing seed  and reaping a harvest is a law the Bible tells us will continue and never fail. Genesis 8:22 God's people will do well understanding the law of seed time and harvest. Seed time and harvest is a kingdom law that works effectively on earth. Everything you have and anything you have can be a seed. Your time, your service, your strength/energy, your youth, your old age, your wisdom, your compassion, your love, your money, your worship, and your praise can be your seed. Your seed is anything you invest to reap a harvest. Anything you can plant to get something you want or something God wants you to have is your seed. The kingdom of God is likened to a seed. Matthew 13:31 Your faith is likened to a seed. Matthew 17:20 The word of God is called a seed. Matthew 13:17-24 Jesus Christ is...

The Good & The Beautiful

James 1:17 God is a good God and He gives good things to His people. God is full of goodness because goodness is part of His nature. God is love, and goodness is an aspect of love. 1 John 4:8 Love makes people do good, and goodness is one of the fruit of the Spirit like love is. Galatians 5:22-23 It was in God's love and goodness He chose to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8 James 1:17 shows that God gives good things. God is a giver, a giver of good things because He is good. The Bible is full of evidence that God is good and goodness comes from God. In God's goodness He created the universes, the earth, and all invisible things good. Genesis 1:31 God's creation is beautiful. Nature is beautiful. Psalm 19:1 Out of God's goodness comes beauty! God has a good inheritance for all of His children. 1 Peter 1:3,4 In God's goodness He has given us everything we need for life and godliness. 2 Peter 1:3 In God's goodness He has...
