EMPATHY: A GREAT KEY

Ephesians 4:32

Empathy is an aspect of compassion.
Empathy leads to compassion.
Love produces empathy.
1 Peter 3:8

Compassion is a great quality.
Compassion is a great virtue every true Christian should have.
Empathy is the ability to feel what another person is feeling with the ability to put yourself in the position of that individual, to sympathetically know what that individual is going through.
Romans 12:15

Empathy is evidence your heart is circumcised.
Romans 2:25-29
Jesus Christ  was a very compassionate man.
Luke 7:13
Jesus must have been a very empathetic individual.
Empathy comes from the heart, it has to do with the type of heart you have and it's state.

False prophets and ministers are individuals who are not compassionate or empathetic to Gods sheep.
They are out to fleece the sheep and flock of God.
Their hearts have been seared.
1 Timothy 4:2
Individuals who are empathetic won't cheat, rob, deceive or mistreat other people or animals.
They will be careful about their words, jokes, and their impact upon others.

How we treat animals is important too.
Proverbs 12:10
A good man considers the state of his animals.
How you treat animals under your care is a reflection of how you will treat your fellow man.
Compassion preceded the miracles of Jesus.
Matthew 9:36-38
Matthew 10:1

True miracles are born out of compassion for the person/people we are seeking God's face for, or on whose behalf we are using our grace, gifts, and anointing for their positive change.
If you cannot be empathetic you won't be compassionate, if you're not compassionate true miracles will not flow.
Empathy is a great key!

Why should followers of Jesus Christ be empathetic?
1. The Lord we follow is empathetic and compassionate.
Matthew 9:36
2. Empathy will help your leadership.
empathetic people make good leaders.
Ephesians 5:23-30
3. Empathy will help your personal life/love life/marriage.
Ephesians 5:21-30
4. Empathy is a major key for intercession.
John 11:32-34
5. Empathy is an aspect of love.
 Psalm 86:15
God's love shows He is empathetic and compassionate.
6. Empathy and compassion can open great doors.
God's empathy and compassion for us makes us new creatures, secures our eternity, and makes a way of escape for us in life.
7. Empathy produces mercy.
Mercy is a seed we need to sow to receive mercy.
We enjoy God's mercy because He is empathetic towards us.
Mercy towards our fellow man is a seed.
2 Samuel 22:26

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
