Tragedy, Temptation and Triumph

Life is a battle. Ephesians 6:12
We need to understand life is a battle. It requires positioning ourselves properly, mapping out the right strategies and developing the right mindset.

In every war or battle, there are tragedies.
Battles do not respect the status of men.
In every war or battle both good and bad men die, soldiers of great standing fall, and brilliant fighters can end tragically.
That is what life is like.

Good men die, bad men pass on, good men make it, bad men also survive battles.
Tragedy can befall a person in life whether you are good or bad.
Temptation comes to all men in this life.
Christian or not you will face temptation.

In a war or battle, sometimes an opponent will set traps to defeat or capture their enemy.
In life, our enemy the devil also sets traps to defeat us.
Temptations are the traps of Satan for us on the battlefield of life. Revelations 12:11
With every trap of temptation, God makes a way of escape for us. 1 Corinthians 10:13
It is God's will that we win. 2 Corinthians 2:14
It is God's plan for you to be made strong. Ephesians 6:10
It is God's will for you to overcome every temptation.
It is God's will for you to triumph in life. 1 John 5:4

To triumph is to win, to overcome, to succeed, to emerge on top.
Every child of God has what is takes to triumph.
God has equipped us with all we need to triumph in the battle of life. 1 Corinthians 15:57

Why should you triumph?
1) You have the knowledge of God
The knowledge of God puts us at an advantage in life's battle.
2 Corinthians 2:14

2) The blood of Jesus is available
Revelation 12:11
The blood of Jesus is our winning ticket in life.
The blood of Jesus disarms Satan and his agents.
The blood of Jesus acts as our protection and as a weapon to.

3) God's wisdom is available
Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom turns you into a winner in life.
Wisdom puts you on top.

4) You have the mind of Christ
1 Corinthians 2:16
The mind of Christ is a rich mind which gives you access to the understanding, the insights, the revelation and secrets of God.
The mind of Christ is a blessed and creative mind.

5) The Holy Spirit Is With You
John 16:13
The Holy Spirit is our advantage in life.
In the battle of life, the Holy Spirit directs, teaches, and encourages us.
He is our personal companion who understands us and empowers us for life's battle.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
