Prayers and Vows

Job 22:27,28

Vows are powerful things.
God takes vows seriously. Deuteronomy 23:21-23
Heaven acknowledges and backs up our vows. Numbers 30:2

Prayer is also powerful!
Vows and prayer work together.
A vow is a promise an individual or a group of people make to God.

If you make a vow to God make sure you keep it. Proverbs 20:25
Vows bring us into individual covenants with God.
Vows are serious things before God because God does not joke with covenants. Ecclesiastes 5:4-8

When covenants are made between God and a men, God will always do His part, it is men who have to make sure they are faithful. Psalm 89:34
God will always be faithful, faithfulness is His very nature.
We make vows to God through prayer. 1 Samuel 1:10-11

A vow takes effect when we negotiate with God in the place of prayer to do something for the Lord or meet a need God has on earth with the belief that God will meet our own needs to.
When a vow is accepted, prayer gets a quick answer. 1 Samuel 1:20.

God is not a liar and God rejects lies.
Men may lie but God does not. Romans 3:4
God sees any man or woman who makes a vow, a pledge or a promise to Him and does not fulfil it as a liar.
A vow can be spirit led and it can be in the will and plan of God for our lives.
Our progress can depend on a vow.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
