WINNERS TALK

Philippians 3:14
1 Corinthians 9:24

Every child of God should win in life because they have the faith of Jesus and Jesus faith is speaking faith. What you say matters. Romans 10:10
A winner is someone who has engaged in a game, a race or a battle and has emerged victorious or on top.
Life is a race we should win.
Each day God has given to us is another opportunity to win in life, each day is another opportunity to get it right. Ephesians 5:15-17
Each day we live is another chance to cultivate habits, attitudes and lifestyles that move us in the direction of our God given dreams and God given purposes.

To talk is to open your mouth and say something. Luke 21:15
To talk is to use your vocal cords, your tongue and your lips to form words so as to communicate.
Psalm 81:10
There is a correlation  between winning in life and what we say/how we talk.
That's why we make confessions in this church!
God wants you to win.
I dare say, you are born to win!
You started winning from the womb.
Among the millions of sperm that could have fertilised our mothers egg ( as science tells us) it's the sperm that produced each of us that won.
Our winning is not limited to the womb.
We manifested after nine months when we were delivered.
Our manifestation shouldn't end there.
Our success and manifestation should continue in Christ Jesus. Our progress should be steady. Proverbs 4:18

The tongue has a lot to do with the direction of our lives.
Talk is not cheap.
Positive, godly talk carries life and it is a useful action. Job 22:27,28
If we are going to win in life we will have to cultivate the attitude of talking right every day of our life. Proverbs 18:21

Why should you win in the race of life?
1) God wants you to win. James 1:12
2) You have been given the power to win. Luke 10:14
3) You can make decisions that will lead to your winning. Philippians 1:21-25
4) You are unique and you have a unique role to fit into God's Kingdom & the World. Psalm 139:14
5) Your words determine your life's course. Speak the right words. Speak winning words.
Proverbs 18:21
6) You are God's great creation who has won before. You can win again. Jeremiah 1:5
7) You can win in life because of the faith in you!
The faith in you is not ordinary faith, it's the faith of Jesus if you're in Christ!

What are the issues stopping us from winning?
a) Poor choices - James 4:7, Joshua 24: 14, 15
b) Ignoring the things of God - a lot of the ignorance, purposeless ness , lack of direction, bitterness and low self esteem in this world has to do with despising God & ignoring His issues. 1 Samuel 2:30
c) Wrong words - James 2:2-11
We can align our lives with the blue print God has for our lives by speaking God's Word over our lives, but when we don't we do not win.
Our talk, our words are so important.
Everyone who is winning, whether in the world or in the Kingdom all have one thing in common.
They speak words of victory and success into their lives.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
