Gratitude, Altitude & Attitude

 Psalm 91:14

Those who look to God, trust God, love God have a promise of being successful over their challenges and problems.

God promises to deliver such people, He promises to lift such people up in life.

Loving God makes us grateful to Him.

Some people struggle with being grateful.

They find it hard being grateful for life, opportunities, and the blessings that have been added to their lives since birth.

This is a wrong attitude.

Such people are deceived by the natural, they look at natural things like their temporary unpleasant experiences to determine whether God is faithful or not.

People in this category are deceived by calendar years, they check out time to determine if God is faithful or not.

They give God a time frame for performance, if things don't happen within that time frame they give up on God.

This is the wrong attitude.

They forget God is not limited to time or by time.

God is eternal and time answers to God.

Such people forget God can break into time at any point in their life's journey to work a miracle or change their fortunes.

Jabeez a man who was honorable by destiny but was experiencing a contrary life's experience on earth was humble enough to turn to God, he was humble enough to pray.

1 Chronicles 4:9,10

Prayer is the right attitude when we are suffering, challenged or facing difficulties.

James 5:13

Gratitude should be our default attitude towards God in life's journey.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Our Lord Jesus taught us to start our prayers blessing the name of God.

Our prayers should be directed to our heavenly Father.

An aspect of our prayers should also be about blessing His name, this is worship and the right attitude.

Matthew 6:9

Gratitude is a huge part of our worship.

Being grateful helps us worship the Lord effectively.

Gratitude inspires praise and worship to God.

Psalm 100:4

The enemy will always try to suggest reasons to us to be ungrateful.

He does this to stop our praises to God, he does it to end our worship and lose favor with God.

Those who bless the name of the Lord in gratitude rise to higher altitudes in life.

Gratitude to God is the right attitude to have and a sign of humility.

God  gives grace to the humble but resists the proud.

James 4:6

The humble are grateful people- they are grateful for other peoples input, other peoples support, they are grateful for each day, for love, life and family.

The humble don't frown at other people's blessings.

Humility is the right attitude.

As we are humble enough to be grateful, God releases grace to us.

Grace takes us to higher heights, it lifts us to higher altitudes.

Humility unlocks grace, grace empowers for higher heights.

Humility is an attitude.

It is a mental state, it is the outcome of right thinking and the right perspective.

Humility makes us successful.

God is committed to the success of the humble on the earth.

Matthew 5:5

This means success is an attitude.

The right attitude brings the right results!

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
