Luke 1:37
Our text passage attests to the truth that all things are possible with God.
The Bible informs us here that nothing shall be impossible with God.
Nothing shall be impossible with God means there is no impossibilities in God, with God, and through God.
It means the things we can imagine and the things we cannot imagine which are beyond our abilities to imagine are possible with God.
It is very easy to forget we are connected to a God with whom all things are possible.
The 'push and pull' of our day to day lives, life's demands, challenges, difficulties, setbacks and responsibilities can overwhelm and make us forget we have a God who can help us and through whom all things are possible.
This is why a teaching like this is important, be encouraged and reminded that with God all things are possible.
If a virgin could give birth a male child without physical intimacy with a man, nothing is impossible through God for you.
Luke 1:26-56
If a man by the name of Lazarus who had been dead for four days could be called back to life and he lived, then nothing is impossible to you through God.
John 11:11-45
If God could hear and honor the prayer of a man nothing was working by the name of Jabez, He can hear and honor your own prayers too.
If God could split the red sea for the sake of a nation He has a covenant with, then God can also make a way where there seems to be no way for those who have a better covenant with Him today through Jesus Christ's sacrifice.
Indeed, with God all things are possible!
Jesus made it clear that the things that are impossible with man are possible with God.
Matthew 19:26
With God all things are possible because He has the kingdom, power, and glory.
Matthew 6:13
Kings have authority.
Matthew 7:29
Since God has the kingdom, He has the authority as King of the kingdom to make the impossible possible for you.
God has the power, so He can enforce and do the impossible.
The glory is God's, so He can manifest the impossible in your favor.
There is a correlation between glory and manifestation.
The power of God in a prophet is what made it possible for him to decree judgement on a group of young men (enemies) and they were destroyed. The prophet Elisha.
2 Kings 2:23,24
The power of God at work in the same prophet is what defied gravity and an axe head rose from the bottom of the river and started floating.
2 Kings 6:1-7
The power of God (anointing) was what was at work when a dead man was brought back to life due to contact with the bones of the prophet Elisha in the tomb.
2 Kings 13:20,21
We have seen the power of God controls animals (she bears), we have seen the power of God defy gravity (floating axe head), we have seen the power of God destroy enemies (42 young men), and we have seen the power of God raise the dead (Elijah's bones and the dead body).
The power of God in Jesus Christ is what produced money (a gold coin) in the mouth of a fish when Jesus and Peter needed it to pay their taxes.
As people of God who follow Jesus Christ, we have been given the kingdom of God as joint heirs with Christ.
Luke 12:32
It means we have access to His authority.
We also have access to His Holy Spirit, His anointing.
This means we can manifest and use God's power.
Acts 1:8
The glory of God means we can show forth and make progress.
We can shine for God due to the glory He has put within us.
Colossians 1:27
