The Light Of Jesus Christ

 Acts 19:1-9

The light of Jesus Christ is no ordinary light.

The light of Jesus Christ is brighter than the sun.

Acts 26:13

This is the light that blinded Saul while he was on the road to Damascus before he became known as Paul the Apostle.

The light of Jesus Christ has transformative power.

An encounter with this light is not only transformative, you don't recover from it.

It radically changes lives and it becomes etched in your being.

Saul never recovered from his encounter with the light of Jesus Christ, that day marked a turning point in his life.

The light of Jesus Christ is the glory of God.

Jesus was that light of God in human form who came to the earth, God the Father's glory in the form of a human being.

John 1:14

In scripture we see this light/glory emanating from the countenance of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:16

This light is the nature, the power, and the essence of God emanating through Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6

Jesus displayed His light on the mount of transfiguration for Peter, James, and John to witness.

Matthew 17:1-9

This light is powerful and bright, it's the light that powers the new Jerusalem/heaven.

Revelation 21:23

After Paul's encounter with the light of Jesus Christ, his calling and ministry was about to start, that encounter kickstarted a ministry that was impactful, divine, sacrificial, and comprised of a lot of writing, and sharing of divine knowledge and revelation.

You cannot encounter the light of Jesus and be lacking in revelation knowledge and wisdom.

The Apostle Paul had a lot of it, he encountered the Light!

The light of God represents that which is divine, holy, positive and good.

It encompasses higher virtues, divine virtues like wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel,  revelation.

It was said of Daniel that light was found in him.

Daniel 5:11

Through God's light in Daniel, he became a godly force to be reckoned with in the nation of Babylon.

The light of Jesus Christ helps us navigate our way through this life.

John 8:12

The light of God is within each true follower  of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:14-16

Christ in us is our hope of glory.

Colossians 1:28

May the glory of God, which is the light of Jesus Christ, shine through you!

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
