Psalm 18:33
Our text passage shows us we need feet like hinds feet to get to the heights we should get to.
There is a height God intends for you to get to, but your feet will determine whether you make it to your height, to your mountain top.
Another name for hind is deer.
The deer can be found on and around mountain tops at times.
You don't climb a mountain with shaky feet, wounded feet, or disabled feet.
The feet of the hind/deer are feet that are strong, they're feet that stand firmly, and tread safely on paths of testing and trouble.
When you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, God wants your feet to be like hind's feet.
Hind's feet refers to your foundations.
Our foundation matters and the Bible has a lot to say about that.
The foundation of our body, our physical frame when upright is our feet.
If your feet are hurt or in pain it affects your balance and you'll be left with no choice but to limp or fall.
God doesn't want you to fall on your journey of life.
God wants you whole and well.
God wants our journey through life blessed and balanced with a sure end and destination.
Jeremiah 29:11
God wants our feet like hinds feet.
Habakkuk 3:19
Hind's feet is also symbolic of establishment.
God wants you established and well rooted in Him.
Matthew 7:24-25
God doesn't want you to fall or limp through life but to journey through life with confidence, assurance, and progress.
Proverbs 4:18
The feet of an individual has to do with his life's journey and progress.
The feet are needed for movement.
Taking steps with your feet represents progress.
Jesus washed the feet of his disciples as an act of humility, kingdom leadership, and to impart stability and firmness to the spiritual walk of his disciples.
John 13:1-5
No wonder the disciples (who became Apostles) prevailed despite all the persecution and difficulty they faced after Jesus ascended back to heaven.
They had feet touched by the hands of Jesus!
John 13:1-5
Anything Jesus touches is made strong, whole, blessed, well, and fully functioning.
When Jesus touches your foundation (feet) your feet becomes like hinds feet.
1 Peter 5:10
God not only wants to touch your foundation, He wants to be your foundation.
Matthew 7:24-29
God was the root (foundation) of David, no wonder David performed many exploits in life.
Revelation 22:16
David's feet was like hinds feet (that's why David never fell on the battle field).
1 Chronicles 18:1-13
This year and beyond you will not fall.
God will make your feet like hinds feet.
