Being Positive In Negative Times

 Romans 15:13

The text passage above shows that we can have joy, peace, and overflow with hope as we trust God.

God does this work in us irrespective of how negative things may look and be in the world.

Jesus had a positive mindset of possibilities.

When He saw the blind, He knew they could see again.

John 9:1-11

When He saw a lunatic He knew the lunatic could be restored in his mental health.

Mark 5:1-19

When He came across the dead, He was positive enough to believe the dead is asleep.

Luke 8: 51-52

When He encountered demons He knew they could be cast out.

Luke 8:1,2

In negative situations, Jesus was positive in His view and outlook.

Negativity and darkness never overcame Him.

John 1:5

That's how we should be and live.

The darkness of this world should not overcome us.

Negative and dark times may be upon the world and may continue for a season, in the midst of it all we can be positive in God.

Romans 5:1,11

As light is the answer to darkness, being positive in God is an answer to the negativity on earth.

It is this kind of positive lifestyle we live through God that should give us opportunities to tell those who inquire about the hope within us.

Jesus Christ gives us that hope, He is the living hope Himself. He is our living hope.

1 Peter 1:3

In the midst of turmoil, you can remain joyful and positive minded.

1 Peter 1:6-8

We can be positive in what is becoming a negative world because:

1) We have been filled with God's Spirit.

Romans 5:5

2) We have been granted faith, the faith of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:16

3) We follow Christ and have the light of life!

John 8:12

4) We are light in a dark world.

Matthew 5:14-16

5) Grace has been granted to us.

Romans 6:14

6) Strength has been given to us.

Ephesians 6:10

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
