When Mercy Rises!

Mark 10:46-52

Blind Bartimaeus is a scriptural and real life example of a man who mercy rose up for. Through a cry for mercy he received his sight.

Jesus Christ is the mercy of God personified.
The coming of Jesus to the earth is the highest mercy of God to mankind.

It is sad when people don't take advantage of these times of grace we are in by accepting Jesus Christ and His message.
When you accept Jesus Christ into your heart, the morning star rises in your heart.
Jesus Christ is the morning star, He is the magnificent star that shines during the day and at night!

David the shepherd boy enjoyed God's mercy.
It is mercy that turned a shepherd boy into a king by the anointing.
David knew God's mercy. Psalm 23:6

From David's life we see what mercy does:
When mercy rises for you and within you, the kingdom of God comes alive to you (for David, the kingdom came alive to him by God making him king instead of Saul. God gave David the kingdom!)

When mercy rises, grace works for you.
It was grace that made David kill Goliath. Naturally David could not kill Goliath. Goliath had all the advantages. The five stones David picked up by the brook before killing Goliath represents grace.

When mercy rises in your life, your status changes for the better.
David went from a harpist who sings songs in the wilderness during his spare time when he isn't tending the sheep to an anointed musician whose ministration ministered to King Saul. This brought him closer to royalty which was his destiny. His status was starting to change.

When mercy rises in your life, your enemies cannot prevail against you.
David was a king who had so many battles to fight in his life yet he never lost any on the battle field.

When mercy rises in your life, you will not be at the mercy of men.
King Saul in his madness and jealousy wanted David dead. God never left David at Saul's mercy, in fact it was king Saul who was at David's mercy twice but David refused to kill him.

When mercy rises  in your life, you become enlightened to fulfill your prophetic destiny.
2 Peter 1:19
Mercy will give you a sense of destiny, direction, insight and identity.

When you show mercy, you are blessed.
Matthew 5:7
With mercy comes blessing.

Blind Bartimaeus received the blessing of a miracle in the form of his heart desire - the receiving of his sight.
The Jesus who restored sight to blind Bartimaues is till alive today, He hasn't changed.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever!
Hebrews 13:8

So our Lord is still in the business of granting miracles, restoring people, and working wonders in people's lives.
When Jesus was on earth He went about doing good, blessing people, and showing mercy.
In Christ Jesus, God has chosen you for mercy.
Romans 9:15

Be blessed!

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
