BE FOCUSED.

Proverbs 4:25

Keeping our eyes on the goal , on our destination, on our target is necessary for us to achieve and make the needed impact.
Jesus was a very focused person. We should be to.
Jesus was focused on His assignment, His ministry, and the will of the Father. For Him it was like meat. That was His passion.
John 4:31-34
He didn't allow anything including hunger to break His focus.
Matthew 4:4
John 4:31-34

Jesus could endure all He endured because He was looking to the future. Hebrews 12:2
Jesus stayed focused because He knew the future is always more important than the present.
Hebrews 12:3
Anyone who can see a glorious future ahead will be able to endure the inconvenience of today.
Joseph stayed focused because of the future God showed him in the form of dreams he had at seventeen.

To achieve and be the best you can be you will have to be focused. Proverbs 5:1,2
The lion is regarded as the king of the jungle, a strong beast and a survivor.
These great and manly qualities are associated with the lion but very few people emphasize the ability of the lion to focus.
Focus is one of the key strengths of the lion.
If you can break the focus of a lion, you can escape from it's attack or even  defeat it.
The sight of the lion is one of it's great assets.

Lions have sight far better and sharper than human beings have.
They can spot their prey many miles away.
The eagle is another animal that's remarkable.
The eagle is regarded as the king of the skies.
The eagle is a very focused bird.
The eagle has superior sight and vision, this is part of its survival quality.

It's interesting Jesus is identified as a lion and an eagle in scriptures.
Deuteronomy 32:10,11
Revelation 5:5
Like our Master Jesus we have the spiritual qualities of eagles and lions within us.
John 20:21
Like our Master, we should be focused as He was and as eagles and lions are.
Nothing, not hunger, not the glories of this world or challenges could stop Jesus.
It's God's will that what He has started in our lives He will finish it. Philippians 1:6

God is a finisher and completer.
He wants us to be like Him.
An individual who's not focused will not finish or complete anything.
Nehemiah finished the building of the wall.
God finished and completes because He is focused.
The Apostle Paul finished his assignment. 2 Timothy 4:7
When we are focused we will begin to finish and complete. Acts 20:24

Jesus could announce "it's finished" because He had been focused going about His assignment when He was on earth as a human being.
John 19:30

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
