TIMES OF REFRESHING

Acts 3:19

A time of refreshing is a time of blessing to the battle weary saint.
Our heavenly Father in His love knows there will be times we need His refreshing.
God knows life is a battle. Ephesians 6:12
God knows His children will need peace, replenishment, rest and to be revived.
These are the things God's refreshing offers us.

When God refreshes you, you will be revived.
When God refreshes you, you will know peace.
When God refreshes you, you will be replenished.
When God refreshes you, you will experience rest.

This is why God sets seasons in place, times when His  children experience His refreshing.
These are times of refreshing scheduled for you in God's Kingdom.
God showed us a pattern of rest after creation. God rested on the seventh day. Genesis 2:2
It is not God's will that after fighting hard, working hard, serving God with all your heart against all odds, you do not get refreshed. Mark 6:31

A wise commander of an army doesn't just consider the physical fitness, training and mental state of his soldiers. He will also have to put the food and water supplies of his fighters into consideration.
Part of his plan will have to be considering places and times when his men will have to take a break and be refreshed. 1 Kings 17:1-10
Our heavenly Father is like that.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit operate like that.
They know life is a battle and they schedule seasons of rest and replenishment for their  followers, their human soldiers.

God knows when you need to be revived and refreshed.
He releases the dew of heaven, the presence of the Kingdom of God upon you when He sees you are becoming weary. Genesis 27:28

Characteristics of times of refreshing:
1) When you are in a time of refreshing, things happen more easily for you. 2 Kings 3:17-19

2) When you are in a time of refreshing, you feel hopeful all over again. Fresh strength and power comes into you.
Isaiah 40:31

3) When you are in a time of refreshing, fresh joy comes upon you from God's presence.
Psalm 45:7

4) When you are in a time of refreshing, desires and needs are granted.
Psalm 37:4

5) Times of refreshing are times of favour from the Lord.
Psalm 37:4

6) They are times of fulfilment when prophecies come to pass and God's people manifest.
2 Kings 3:19-26

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
