PROPHECY AND PRAYER

2 Peter 1: 20, 21
Matthew 2: 1-21

The life of Jesus Christ was guided by prophecy.
Prophecy is a powerful spiritual force that determines our future and the events of our lives.
Prophecy is what the heavens is declaring or has declared about your life.
Prophecy is the written or verbally proclaimed Word from the heavens.
Our Lord Jesus's life was the manifestation of written and spoken prophecy. Matthew 2: 5,15, 17

You cannot be more than your prophecy, for true prophecy is from heaven, and a man or woman cannot be more than what heaven has made him or her. John 3:27
Prayer that is in line with your prophecy will be powerful and potent.
Prayer is putting God's Word back to Him and hearing from Him in return. Prophecy is declaring what heaven has declared about you.
So when we pray in line with what heaven is declaring about us or has declared about us, heaven responds to our Words.

Prayer is powerful.
Prophecy is also very powerful.
Prophecy is what heaven has declared about you. It is the greatest spiritual force that shapes our lives and charts our course. Prophecy is very important.
Prophecy is what preserved Jesus's life
Prophecy also reveals to you what heaven has given to you.

True prophecy edifies.
True prophecy is for your benefit and God's glory
We know a prophecy is true and from God because it will declare things that's for our benefit since God is for our benefit.

The prophecy can be to help you avert danger in the form of guidance or a warning. But over all, it should benefit you if it's from God.
God doesn't want His children praying anyhow but in line with heaven, in line with His children's prophecy.
You align your life and your prayers with your prophecy by obedience to the Word and praying the Word.
True prophets, speak true prophecy. Deuteronomy 18:22
God doesn't just appoint anyone a prophet, God doesn't joke with prophecy.
A true prophet must be someone God has spent time training before the person stepped into the prophetic office.
Not everyone is called into a prophetic office, but we can all prophesy and God desires we prophesy and be 'prophets' even to our own lives.
However, it's God's will that we all prophesy. We can do so by His Spirit's inspiration. Acts 2:16

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
