IT IS WRITTEN

Matthew 4:1-11

'It is written' is a very powerful spiritual platform to operate from in the place of prayer.
'It is written' is the grounds upon which Jesus defeated Satan in our Bible passage- Matthew 4:1-11
'It is written' is our basis for defeating and overcoming the devil, the tempter.
'It is written' is the highest spiritual force.
Psalm 138:2

When we say 'It is written' we are saying we know our spiritual right, we are saying we know what God has put in place for us to be blessed and for things to happen for God's glory and our favor.
God cannot lie. God's Word is truth, so when we rightly divide God's Word we can overcome in any situation we find ourselves.

When we begin to pray God's Word, activities take place in the Spirit.
When we say 'It is written' like Jesus said in Matthew 4, we are bringing the Word to bear on a situation!
By rightly applying God's Word we can overcome wrong thoughts, temptation, poverty, failure and all the traps of the enemy.

James 4:7 says we should resist the devil and we see from Matthew 4:1-11 that the way to resist the devil is by using God's Word, accurately applying the Word of God to confront the enemy.

Prayer Points:

1) Lead me up in life by your Spirit. (Matthew 4:1)
2) Help me to value your Word like I value the food I eat. (Matthew 4:4)
3) Give me the grace to worship only God and nothing else. (Matthew 4:10)
4) Let your angels come and minister to me in all areas of my life. (Matthew 4:11)
5) Help me to discern and avoid the voice of the tempter. (Matthew 4:3)
6) Give me the discipline and grace to grow in the Word of God. (2 Peter 3:18)
7) Use me for your glory. (Isaiah 6:8)
8) Let there be a spiritual, numerical and financial revival in this ministry. (Acts 2:47)

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
