THE AMAZING BENEFITS OF REPENTANCE.

Acts 3:19, James 4:8-10

Repentance in it's simplest form is to have a change of mind, a change of heart over a matter.
Repentance is a step towards righteousness. Matthew 21:32

God created human beings to be free to make their own choices. We are free moral agents.
On the other hand, every decision we make has consequences, and we have to accept whatever the result of our choices bring. An example of an individual who made some choices that affected him wrongly was the righteous man and nephew of Abraham called Lot. Genesis 13:11-13

To repent is a choice.
Our minds must not be in bondage. God desires for us to have a change of mind about anything that's wrong  whether its our conduct, actions, desires, thoughts and all wrong doing. God wants us to be repentant regarding sin in our lives. Proverbs 28:13

Repentance was a necessary part of Jesus's message when He was here on earth. It should be a part of our own message as a church. Matthew 4:17
Repentance is a message of God's Kingdom because repentance is a first step in the right direction towards being reconciled to God and being in God's Kingdom.
Repentance occurs when the light of God's Word has been able to gain entrance to our minds.
2 Corinthians 4:4.
Repentance starts in the mind.
Repentance is when we come to our senses with the will to do what is right.
Repentance is an action we take after realizing the truth of God's Word which shows us our state. It is changing our minds about sin and turning around from it.
Repentance is a state of mind God expects everyone to come to. 2 Peter 3:9
Repentance is necessary because God commands it. Acts 17:30
Repentance is what  God demands of us before giving us a new beginning.
Repentance is necessary if we are going to continue having favor with our heavenly Father. The story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 is proof of this.
The prodigal son's story is proof that it's never too late to repent.
Repenting is an act of coming to one's senses and doing something about it.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
