Work With Your Angel

Hebrews 1:14 God would have you work with the angel(s) he has assigned to your life. It is what He expects of you if you are in Christ Jesus. Be sensitive to the Spirit realm, there is an angel beside you, even angels. This is not strange. While it is alright to be cautious as ministers of the gospel, I have a responsibility to teach people about the dynamics of the spiritual realm. In my doing so, spiritual things become real to people and they learn and know what is available in the spirit realm to them and how to apply them. We have to present the things of the spirit to the world in such a way that its not only truthful, relatable and believable, we have to let them know how spiritual things work. Many Christians have found themselves stuck due to a lack of knowledge of what they should know. These are facts about the believer and their guardian angel: i) You and your guardian angel are from the same source- the Father of all Spirits. ii) You and your guardian angel are from the sa...

Your Guardian Angel

Acts 12:1-15 Our text passage shows us one of the cleanest prison escape ever. Imagine how king Herod must have felt and the guards assigned to ensure Peter remained in prison. They must have been baffled the following morning trying to figure out the mystery. By an angelic intervention, God mocked them. By an angelic intervention Peter was set free. It happened because the church prayed, there was a group of intercessors interceding for Peter. They didn't want to lose Peter the way they had just lost James. Peter was delivered overnight, the night before he was to be executed! The interesting thing about Peter's deliverance is that the angel was right beside Peter. It is the prayers of the saints/church that activated this angel. I believe this angel had always been with Peter. He was most likely Peter's guardian angel. The prayers of the saints which was constant made this angel bring about a deliverance for Peter. Even those who prayed for Peter were shocked when Peter...

God's Leading & The Challenges Of Life

Exodus 14:6-12 God was leading the children of Israel and their leader Moses, but they still found themselves stuck with the Red sea before them and Pharoah and six hundred chariots chasing behind them with the intention of destroying them . They couldn't go forward and they couldn't turn backwards. To go forward would lead to them drowning, to stay in one spot was to be killed or taken back to Egypt as slaves by the Egyptians, to turn backwards was to hand themselves over to Pharaoh and his riders which would defeat their whole liberation effort and make Moses and God liars. They were stuck! This is where God's leading had brought them to. God's leading is not evidence life will always be smooth sailing for us. What God's leading ensures  is divine presence- God will be with you despite the storm, despite the challenge. When God leads us, it doesn't mean the journey will always be smooth or easy but it doesn't change the fact that God is the one leading. ...
