The Strangers Voice

 John 10:2-5

The stranger according to our text passage is the voice of the enemy.

It is the voice of deception.

It is the voice of the wicked one.

John 8:44

An enemy is not an individual who wishes you well, your enemy is the one who wants to steal, kill, and destroy in your life.

Satan is your enemy and he has a voice.

John 10:10

His voice is in the earth today.

You will find his voice in every sector of life- religion, philosophies, music, social media, mass media, new age beliefs, literature, traditions and customs.

I John 5:19

Be careful who you listen to, be careful who you take advise from and be careful which advise you take.

You can hear the right voice.

Isaiah 30:21

There are many voices in the earth today, many of them won't lead you into God's best and plan for your life.

Proverbs 14:12

Just as he deceived Eve of old, his tricks and gimmicks remain the same.

2 Corinthians 11:3

People who get deceived heard and believed the wrong voice.

In the same way it is possible to be deceived by listening to the wrong voice, the voice of the stranger, we can also hear the voice of the Shepherd and be lead right.

If you get familiar with the Shepherd's voice you will discern the voice of the stranger.

Satan is the stranger, his agents and cohorts are strangers.

Jesus is the Shepherd, the good Shepherd, the Chief Shepherd.

The stranger and the Shepherd both have voices.

The Shepherd is the Messiah, the King, our Savior.

His followers (those who have received Him in faith) have the privilege of hearing and knowing His voice.

His voice leads, guides, and directs.

His voice instructs.

His voice comforts.

His voice strengthens.

His voice teaches.

His voice is one with the voice of the Spirit.

His voice liberates.

His voice brings progress.

The voice of the Shepherd protects the sheep.

His voice delivers.

His voice backs up the scriptures.

His voice enlightens.

His voice makes us wise.

The voice of the Shepherd nullifies the voice of the stranger.

Spending quality time with the shepherd daily, enhances our knowing His voice when it comes.

When we become very familiar with how the Shepherd speaks to us.

John 10:27

When His voice comes as a still small voice, an audible voice, a prompting, a leading, an inspiration or desire to act/take steps, we can know if it is of the good Shepherd.

1 Kings 19:11-13

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18...

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out. Know that out of your ashes can come beauty! God is the one who gives us beauty for ashes. God can make you and your life beautiful! Don't make the ashes your permanent state. God can make your season of ashes work out into a season of glory for you. Romans 8:28 The phoenix is a mystical and fictional bird that burns out after living for about six centuries. After burning itself out it rises from it's ashes renewed, youthful and revitalized to live through another life cycle. Like the p...
