The Underdogs Of Life

 1 Samuel 2:8

God has a way of springing surprises.

God can use your life to pull out positive surprises that will bless and inspire people.

An underdog is a person others did not bet on to win in life.

An underdog is a person others have despised or counted out in life.

Underdogs are people who have the odds stacked against them in life, and as a result others could not see them making it.

Underdogs are found in all areas of life- business, sports, ministry, academics, and among families.

The scriptures show us that God does not write off the underdog.

As a matter of fact God is a God who is on the side of the underdog.

You may be an underdog today but through God you can manifest as a victor who defeats every challenge.

A underdog is a person who can potentially be celebrated.

There is something inspiring about an underdog beating the odds to become a winner in life.

God wants you to win in life and eternity.

Mark 10:29

God wants your life to inspire angels and the cloud of witnesses.

They are inspired by our faith, our walk of faith.

God wants your life to positively inspire people around you and the coming generations.

This is why you must not give up on yourself, your future, your plans, your dreams, and your destiny.

Moses was not qualified in the eyes of his own people to be their deliverer, but the God who gives the underdog a chance had other plans.

Acts 7:35

You are created to be somebody's hero.

Your life story and experiences should motivate someone.

The Apostle Paul was an underdog in the sense that he wasn't qualified by human standards to occupy the spiritual office God called him to occupy.

God gives underdogs a chance.

1 Corinthians 15:9,10

God in His mercy picks up those who have been despised and rejected by men, and He makes something of their lives.

Man's reject is God's elect.

Psalm 118:22

Many Bible heroes were underdogs in life who God had mercy on.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

The mercy of God changes the story of the underdog.

2 Samuel 7:8-11

In every area of life you will find people who are underdogs, many of those who received miracles from Jesus Christ and the Apostles were beggars, the afflicted, and and physically handicapped.

Due to their challenges they didn't seem to stand a chance in life.

But the God who gives the underdog a chance gave them all a chance at life through the performing of signs, wonders, and miracles.

Mercy located them and the miracles of God gave them a new beginning.

Jesus the Christ came for the underdogs.

Matthew 9:12,13

What often distinguishes underdogs who make it is the mercy of God.

David was not the only shepherd boy around during his teenage years.

God in His mercy selected David among the several or perhaps many shepherd boys in the land to be king over His people.

Isaiah 55:3

Gideon was not the only fearful youth in Israel, but God  in His mercy and sovereign ways picked and raised Gideon up as a valiant judge of His people.

Judges 6:1-12

The kingdom of God is a kingdom of underdogs, there are many of them in God's kingdom who didn't stand a chance to make something of themselves in the sight of men if not for the mercy of God.

The kingdom of God is full of souls who were underdogs while on earth and made it, and full of people who are underdogs presently on earth who will win.

Hebrews 12:1,2

If you feel the odds are stacked against you, life has not been fair to you, and people are not giving you a chance, the kingdom of God is where you should be.

The kingdom of God offers you a level playing field.

In the kingdom of God, nobodies become somebodies, the poor become rich, and the afflicted become whole.

The underdog often has a humble outlook to life and issues because they don't have much to boast about.

God loves the underdog and responds to their humility.

James 4:6

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
