2 Corinthians 4:18
That it looks and seems that way doesn't mean it has to be that way.
That things have been a certain way doesn't mean it has to remain that way.
That things have gone wrong doesn't mean they can't go right.
Faith understands this.
Faith understands physical things are subject to change.
Faith understands the things that are physical are temporary.
Faith doesn't make that which is contrary its reality.
Faith doesn't allow negative physical circumstances and situations have the last word.
Faith knows the physical realm is deceptive.
Faith knows Satan always tries to deceive us in the physical realm.
Faith doesn't accept whatever is wrong and negative as its truth.
The faith that is from God sees possibilities despite the odds.
The faith in the believer is a measure of the faith from God.
Romans 12:3
Faith is above and beyond the natural realm, that's why it doesn't settle for natural evidence that opposes God's will.
When David and Goliath were pitched against each other on the battlefield, the natural eyes saw an uneven and unfair contest.
It saw a giant armed with weapons, armor, and experience on the battlefield facing a cute young boy with no weapons.
It looked like a total mismatch.
But that's not what the faith in David saw.
David's faith saw victory, success in battle, and Goliath's defeat.
What David's faith saw is what came to pass.
What does the faith in you see?
Moses sent spies into the land of promise God had told him and the children of Israel about.
He sent out 12 of them.
Numbers 13:2
Only Joshua and Caleb came back with a positive report of faith out of the 12.
Joshua and Caleb focused on what faith was saying while the other spies focused on the negative view of the natural.
The majority is not often right because the majority of people are not following the path of faith which is the narrow way.
What are you focusing on?
Faith is positive.
Faith is saying something.
Faith sees something.
Faith accepts God has said it, and that is final.
When Jesus was on the cross of calvary He didn't look like a success or a victor.
The natural eyes saw a man whose disciples had abandoned him and were powerless to help him.
The natural eyes saw a man whose close friend and disciple had denied him three times.
The natural eyes saw a man who had been betrayed by one of his disciples.
The natural eyes saw a man who had been whipped, spat on, mocked, despised, wrongly accused, and nailed to a cross with a crown of thorns on his head.
But that's not what God the Father saw.
That's not what the Holy Spirit was seeing.
That was not what the eyes of faith saw.
That is not what the faith in Jesus was seeing.
That was not the end of the story.
The faith in Jesus was seeing the glory ahead, and the joy ahead.
That is why He could endure the cross and despise the shame.
Hebrews 12:2
Faith changes things, faith brings about the manifestation of the promises.
Hebrews 6:12
Faith is a game changer.
Faith is a life changer.
Abraham eventually received the reality of his faith.
Abraham did not focus on the deadness of Sarah's womb or their ages.
Romans 4:18-22
Abraham hoped against hope, and he and his wife received their child of promise and the blessing of God!
