Prevailing By The Blessing

 Genesis 49:25,26


The scripture passage above shows us Joseph had the blessing of God on his head.

He wore the blessing spiritually like a crown!

The blessing made Joseph a prince among his brothers!

You need the blessing to prevail in a dark and difficult world.

No matter how dark the times are we are meant to prevail as God's people.

No matter how dark it gets in the world we are meant to shine through and in the darkness.

Light is who we are in Christ Jesus.

Shinning is the responsibility and blessing God has given to us.

It is what we do!

Matthew 5:14-16

It is clear dark times are upon the earth.

Isaiah 60:2

Humanity has rejected the peace, the joy, the blessing, and the pattern of God for itself  by rejecting the person and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:10,11

As Jesus wept over Jerusalem for her atrocities and not recognizing the day of her visitation, He weeps today over the consequences of the choices the world is making.

Luke 19:41-44

Jesus Christ is the hope for humanity today.

Jesus is our hope in these times and at the end of the age.

1 Peter 3:15

The world will not get better with the choices  humanity is making, this will continue until the emergence of the anti-Christ and the rapture of the church.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

In the mean time God instructs His people to "occupy till He comes"

Luke 19:13

We are meant to occupy ourselves with the things of the kingdom.

Matthew 6:33

We are meant to be about the Father's business.

Luke 2:49

How do we go about the Father's business in a world that is hostile to the things of God?

How do we prevail on the job, in our careers,, in our marriages, parenting, spiritual lives, friendships, calling and the Father's business in difficult times?

We do all these things successfully by The Blessing!

God is a God who rules in human affairs by living in us.

1 Corinthians 6:19

He blesses us with His presence, with Himself.

It is not by power or might but God's Spirit.

God told Abraham that He will be Abraham's shield and exceeding great reward, this is a promise to Abraham that God will become The Blessing to Abraham.

Genesis 15:1

God wants to be your blessing.

Allow God to become THE BLESSING to you.

This is the way to prevail in a dark and evil season of life.

Focus on God as your blessing.

Let God be your portion.

Psalm 16:5

When God is your blessing, He will protect you and fight for your interests.

Genesis 12:17

You will prevail in a dark world and shine like a star!

Genesis 26:4

Out Of The Ashes

Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are not seen as useful substances. Ashes are waste that's thrown away. Ashes are what is left after a substance is burnt out. Your life may seem like ashes right now but something good and beautiful can come out of it when it's given to God. You may feel like an ash yourself. You may be feeling burnt out from unpleasant experiences of the past, the previous week, the last Month , or the the last year and life's battles may have left you burnt out.
