The Fortified Soul

 2 Corinthians 10:5,6

For the times we are in, you need a fortified soul.

Your soul is a very important aspect of your being.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

You are who you are on earth to some extent because of the state of your soul.

Your will is an aspect of your soul.

Your mind is an aspect of your soul.

Your emotions is an aspect of your soul.

Your ability to love and receive love has a lot to do with your soul.

Your reasoning faculty and decision making has to do with your soul, it's part of your soul.

1 Kings 3:12

Your soul also called your heart is so important the enemy seeks to influence and have it. God also seeks to influence it.

2 Corinthians 11:3, 1 Peter 2:25

It is the state of your soul that determines your mental health and sanity.

Your rejecting or accepting of the gospel also has a lot to do with your soul.

2 Corinthians 4:4

How well God's word benefits you will have a lot to do with your ability to process or mix God's word with faith in your soul.

Hebrews 4:2

The words soul and heart is is used interchangeably in scripture.

How well life goes for you will have a lot to do with your soul.

3 John 2

Your believing and having faith has a lot to do with how you process information in your soul.

To fortify your soul is to strengthen and protect your soul.

Our souls require fortification from the lies, the deceptions, and distractions of life.

Our souls require fortification from the arrows of the enemy in the form of wrong thoughts, wrong inspiration, wrong imaginations, wrong ideas, and wrong mindsets that come at it regularly.

There is help for our souls in a world where we have been asked to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Matthew 10:16

In ourselves we are weak, but in God we are strong to win the 'battles' that come against our souls.

Ephesians 6:10

The blood of Jesus is a great benefit to our soul. It washes our soul clean from sin and guilt.

1 John 1:7, Hebrews 9:22

The Word strengthens our soul, being taught the Word (truth) builds and establishes us.

Colossians 2:7

The Spirit of God  empowers our soul with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, and might.

Isaiah 11:2

The Holy Spirit as the Spirit of might is capable of strengthening our soul.

Tough times require tough minds.

You need a tough and strengthened soul for the times we are in, especially if you are going to live as God instructs.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
