Courage For Difficult Times

Joshua 1:9

God wants us to live courageously.
The word courageous is used about 6 times in the Bible.
There are about 114 instances in the Bible of being courageous.
When a word is used more than once in the scriptures it is worth paying attention to.

The end times we are in will demand your courage.
We are in times the Bible informs that the hearts of men will fail them because of the things coming on the earth.
Luke 21:26
We have come into times when people will loose courage for living.
This year alone, Corona virus has cast a very dark shadow on the world and changed a lot of plans.
There are those who committed suicide because of the change Covid-19 brought upon the earth. They didn't have the courage to accept the changes and go through isolation.
In addition to Covid-19, there are many other issues, vices,  and diseases humanity is having to deal with. Only God knows what is to come.

It will take some degree of courage to live successfully in today's world.
It requires courage to serve God at a time the love of many towards God is waxing cold.
Matthew 24:12
It requires courage to go against the tide and flow of an ungodly world.
Psalm 14:2,3
You will need courage to be who you should be in this world and live how God wants you to live in a world that sees the things of God as irrelevant to the present time.

You need courage to be a true and effective Christian.
You will need courage to run your race and fight the good fight.
2 Timothy 4:7
You will need courage to confront your fears and defeat your Goliath.
You need courage to fight a good spiritual and mental warfare.
Ephesians 6:12

Courage is needed to compete and complete in life.
Courage is needed to be an effective leader in life, since everyone is a leader in one capacity or another.
It takes courage to rise up when you've been knocked down in life.
Proverbs 24:16
It takes courage to make decisions others do not believe in that you know is the best decision for you.
It takes courage to believe God when others around you do not see the need for it.
2 Chronicles 20:20

God's Spirit in His capacity as the Spirit of might supplies you with courage, bravery, persistence and strength.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
