The Power Of Simplicity

Galatians 5:1 - "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."

Entanglements arise due to complexity.
Confusion also comes about due to complexity.

God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
1 Corinthians 14:33
Jesus Christ came to make a relationship with God simple and less complicated.
John 14:23
Beware of a gospel, an individual, or a ministry that presents having a relationship with God as a long and tedious process.
Colossians 2:8

Some ministers of the gospel complicate the message of Christ in an effort to look and sound spiritual.
Revelation 22:18,19
The gospel should be presented simply but it doesn't make us simple minded.
Psalm 19:7
Our prayers, deliverance, getting blessed, and our growing in spiritual things should not be a hard, difficult, and complicated process.
We are simply asked to believe, have faith and love God.

When we study the ministry of Jesus Christ from the scriptures, we see there was a simplicity about Him and how he brought deliverance to the people.
There was nothing tiring about His approach.
There was nothing spooky about His message.
He cast out demons with ease.
Matthew 8:16

Becoming a member of God's family has become very simple!
Accessing God has become very simple and much easier.
Ephesians 2:18
Through Jesus, we can have access into the very presence of the Father.
There is nothing hard, complicated, complex and ritualistic in a spooky or scary way about it.
Ephesians 3:12

Prayer that pleases God is not necessarily hard, long, and difficult prayer.
There is nothing wrong with praying for a long time, or praying from a long list of prayer points but making prayer long and tedious is not a yardstick for God approving it.
Matthew 6:5

Having a good relationship with God is not as hard as some messengers have presented it.
The human mind has a way of appreciating that which is complicated and difficult.
We value complex rituals, thinking that is more potent.
2 Corinthians 11:3

Namaan was disappointed by the simple solution God's prophet (Elisha) gave for the cure of Namaan's leprosy.
The instruction may have been simple, but there's great power in the simplicity.
God's power always follows His instruction.
God's instructions are usually simple.

Jesus may have made it simple for us to access the Father but in the simplicity of prayer in Jesus's name there is power!
Philippians 2:10
In the simplicity of the gospel there is greater power than the previous rituals of the old testament.
We don't need to shed the blood of goats, bulls, and sheep anymore with the long process that comes with that for the forgiving of our sins.

By a word, a touch, a prayer in Jesus name deliverance can take place without the long process and steps many deliverance ministries teach.
Luke 11:20

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
