Averting Life's Tragedy

Romans 8:29

It's not God's will that our lives turn out tragically.
The greatest tragedy on earth is the tragedy of an unfulfilled destiny.
There is a place, a status, and a stature God intends you attain or get to before you leave the earth.

Every single human being is born into this earth to fulfill his/her destiny.
You have a unique destiny in God, a glorious destiny in God's sight that has to be manifested.
Your destiny is linked to your purpose/assignment.
Your destiny refers to where God wants you to get to in life.

Spiritually, our destiny is to grow and develop into the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:13
In the physical realm you also have a destiny - a place, a position, an achievement, a status, a benefit that God wants you to get to.

Satan is the biggest and foremost enemy of your destiny.
He lost his own destiny which was to stay in the presence of God, and he doesn't want you to fulfill yours.
Ezekiel 28:14

Not fulfilling destiny is something that must be averted.
It can be averted.

Very few people can claim to have seen Satan, yet he is around acting as an obstacle on the journey to destiny.
You don't need to see Satan, he works through people.
He was the one at work through the king of Tyre.
Ezekiel 28:1-11
He was the one at work in the brothers of Joseph who made them envy and try to bring Joseph down.
He was the one at work in the Philistines and Delilah in an attempt to stop Samson.
He was the one at work in the princes of this world when Jesus was being wiped and crucified. He thought he was stopping Jesus without realizing He was helping to fulfill Jesus's prophetic destiny.
1 Corinthians 2:8
Satan was the one at work in men like King Saul and Absalom who tried to stop David.

Human beings are the primary vessels the enemy will use to try and distract, hinder, resist, fight, and intimidate you off the path of destiny.
When Jesus told his disciples all that was to befall him, Peter called him aside and rebuked Jesus.
Jesus recognized the enemy as the one motivating Peter and He rebuked the enemy.
Matthew 16:21-23
Peter's actions may have looked/seemed sincere but the inspiration behind it was from the enemy.

If Jesus wasn't able to discern, He could have been distracted or obliged to what Peter was saying.
It would have taken Him off the path of His prophetic destiny.

How do we avert life's tragedy?

1) Yield to the Spirit of God: God's Spirit will guide you into your destiny. John 16:13

2) Make the right decisions: this calls for wisdom. You need wisdom to make the best decisions for your life. Decisions can either put you on the path of destiny or take you further from your God given destiny.
Proverbs 3:5,6

3) Be careful about associations: Delilah was a wrong association in Samson's life.  It was an association that cost him his eyes and caused him a tragic end.
1 Corinthians 15:33

4) Engage the enemy in word based prayers: The enemy can be defeated all the time and resisted in the place of prayer. When we pray according to God's will, God hears us.
1 John 5:14

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
