Acts 1:11
As time goes by and we are not reminded of certain things it's easy to forget those things we knew.
Some things are so important they are not worth forgetting.
The coming back of the Lord Jesus Christ is an event every Christian should expect and not forget.
Hebrews 9:28
The second coming of Jesus Christ is the most important event in history.
It is an event that will determine the eternal destiny of many people, so it is worth remembering.
It is worth being reminded of and all true churches should teach the faithful about the Lord's return.
The coming back of Jesus Christ is mentioned by Jesus Himself a number of times in the scriptures through parables, by direct words in the book of Revelation and other books in scripture.
Revelation 3:11
The second coming of Jesus is an occurrence we should not mock, reject, deny, or forget.
It affects everyone on earth and it's impact will be seen all through eternity.
Revelation 22:12,13
The challenge the 5 foolish virgins had in the parable of the wise and foolish virgins is a challenge that can come with time.
Matthew 25:1-13
10 virgins were waiting for the bridegroom.
It was wise for all 10 of them to wait for the bridgeroom.
5 out 10 virgins became foolish with the passage of time.
Don't forget: it's not everyone who starts that finishes.
Don't forget: it is not everyone who starts well that finishes well.
To know Jesus Christ is coming and forget it before His return is foolishness.
To forget the second coming of the Lord is to let yourself go instead of holding firmly unto the Lord.
To forget the second coming of the Lord is to take the coming back of Jesus Christ with levity.
To forget the second coming of the Lord is to start with Christ but be with Satan at the Lord's return.
Don't forget: it's those who endure to the end that will be saved.
Matthew 24:13
To forget the second coming of the Lord is to have heard messages and teachings of the Lord's return but not give heed to it.
It is those who don't forget but hold fast to the Lord that will be rewarded.
It is those who endure to the end that will be saved.
Don't forget: we must stay and live ready for the Lord's return for we do not know the day or the hour of the Lord's return.
