Spiritual Maturity

In the physical dimension there are benefits and entitlements an adult has that a child does not enjoy.
There are places an adult can go to and things an adult can do.
There are opportunities, advantages, and rewards in this world that are for adults not for children.
It is the same way in the spirit realm.
Galatians 4:1
Hebrews 5:14

The Bible encourages us to grow spiritually. Ephesians 4:15
It is God's will that we become spiritually mature so that we come into our inheritance.
Spiritual maturity means you are overcoming the evil one. 1 John 2:14

There are some great and good things God has for us but we don't receive them until we are mature enough to handle them. Galatians 4:3-7
It is to our advantage and benefit to come to spiritual maturity. Hebrews 5:13
We are of greater use to God  when we are grown spiritually. Hebrews 5:12

The greatness of Jesus, our perfect example, had to do with His spiritual development not his human age when he was on earth. Jesus died a young man when he was here in flesh.
But no one made greater spiritual impact than Jesus Christ.
This is a man whose birth and death changed life and split time.
This is God's will for us. To make an impact for Him.

Spiritual maturity has to do with the state of our spirit man and our understanding of God's Word.
The scriptures encourages us not to let anyone despise our youth. 1 Timothy 4:12
This means a person can be young in age but mature in spiritual things.
At the age of 12 Jesus showed a supernatural understanding of spiritual things beyond his years.
Timothy the protege of the Apostle Paul was a bishop of a church at a young age, about 17 years old.

The way God sees and looks at people is different  from how the carnal human being does.
If we were behold Jesus when he was 12 years old here on earth in the temple, all we will be seeing is a 12 year old boy but the heavenly Father was seeing a spiritual adult. Luke 2:44-52

You can be advanced in age and be spiritually mature.
You can be young in age and be spiritually immature.
You can be advanced  in age and be spiritually immature.
You can also be young in age and be spiritually mature.

Being spiritually mature is to be more Christ-like . Ephesians 4:13
It involves a daily effort at spiritual exercises that makes for spiritual growth and developing a renewed mind. 1 Corinthians 14:20

To growth spiritually, do the following:
1) Regular, consistent and persistent prayer times. Daniel 6:10
2) Bible reading and meditation. Hebrews 5:14
3) Fellowship with other believers. Hebrews 10:25
4) Obedience to the Lord's commands. Revelation 14:12
5) Speaking and declaring God's Word. Isaiah 55:11
6) Receive spiritual adoption. John 1:12

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
