The Atmosphere Of God's Kingdom

Luke 17:21
Revelation 21:1-4

The kingdom of God is a place.
The kingdom of God is also a presence.
The kingdom of God reflects God.
The kingdom of God shows His power, majesty, awesomeness and taste.

Although God's kingdom is a place, it operates as Gods' presence within God's people.
In the natural, when we see people's mannerisms, hear their accents, see their dressing and observe their behaviour we know which country or part of the world they are from.
In the same way we should be able to tell who God's kingdom people are by observing their speech and lifestyles.

When we go into a place, the decorations and interior design can sometimes tell us where the occupants of that place are from. The place will have a certain 'presence'.
It is the same thing with God's kingdom. It has an atmosphere and presence.
As God's people, the 'atmosphere' of God's kingdom should reflect here on earth through our lives.

People should see us and know there is hope.
People should see us and appreciate God more.
Our lives should radiate the atmosphere of that kingdom if we are going to advance the kingdom of God here on earth.

What is the atmosphere of God's kingdom like and how does it apply to us?

1) Peace: Peace is part of the atmosphere of God's Kingdom. The peace Jesus gives is not of this world. John 14:27
If it's not of this world where is it from? It is from God's kingdom. Jesus testified that His kingdom is not of this world. John 18:36
Does your life reflect the peace of God?

2) Joy: Joy is an integral and important part of God's kingdom. Joy is part of the atmosphere of God's Kingdom and presence. Romans 14:17
Does your life reflect the joy of the Lord? Psalm 45:7

3) Beauty: The kingdom of God is a beautiful, majestic and glorious place. It is a gorgeous place. It is beautiful because it is adorned by God Himself. Revelation 21:2
Do you carry yourself with dignity?
Are you majestic and glorious in representing God?

4) Love: Do people feel or sense the love of God through you?
Are you a loving person?
Do you sek the welfare and good of others? 1 John 4:20

5) Perfection: the kingdom of God is a perfect place.
Do people see you doing your best to produce perfection and excellence? Matthew 5:48

6) Newness: Everything about God's kingdom is new, nothing outdated and worn out is there.
Revelation 21:5
Do we live with the knowledge God has  made us new in Christ Jesus? 2 Corinthians 5:17

7) Unique: there is no place like God's kingdom. It is a unique place and presence.
You are a unique person to because you are God's creation, God's finger printis upon you and there is no one exactly like you on earth.
You are unique because God's presence is with you. Deuteronomy 7:6
Do you manifest your uniqueness as an individual or are you trying to be like everyone else?
Do people look at you and sense there is something different about you? They should!
You are uniquely created by God and you're from a unique kingdom!

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
