A school is a place of learning where we acquire knowledge and training we feel will be beneficial to us in life. The essence of schools is to prepare us for the future, we don't necessarily go to school for the present but schooling is more for the future. There is a common knowledge humanity seems to have, which is that 'the future is more important than the present'. In the film sequels Harry Potter, authored by J.K Rolling and the lead acting acted by Daniel Radcliffe we see that there is a spiritual school of witchcraft that is as real as a physical school called Hogwarts where witches and wizards are groomed. They learn how to use their 'powers', develop their talents and they are observed in this school so as to discover who is special and what each witch/wizard can do. As we journey through life, we will need training for some of the things we will have to do in life. That's where teachers, mentors and guides come in. God knows the importance of training and mentorship, and He makes arrangement for it.  It's part of God's blessing to us, when we have a teacher, a mentor or guide over us, who shows us the 'ropes' and teaches us what we need to know in the area where we need it. Mentorship gives us speed and helps us avoid mistakes we would otherwise have made, all the knowledge, wisdom and experience of the mentor is passed on to the protege to help the protege on his journey and assignment. All through the scripture  we see men favored by God who had divine appointments. In fact all heros of faith in scripture had divine appointments of some sort, either with God, a prophet of God or an angel of God. Divine appointments are God's acts of love to certain people He has chosen for a position,a  post or an assignment. Divine appointments are events God schedules into the life of an individual that happens suddenly within a 24 hour period. It could come in the form of an angelic visitation, a prophetic encounter, a divine direction that leads to a blessing, an encounter with God or an anointing. There is a lot going on in my mind. We are in perilous times, it's not surprising, the Bible did say such times will come and they are pointers to the end times we are in. If there is any time we need the refreshing from God's presence, it is now! When God's Word goes forth from an anointed vessel, power is released to do what God intends. We know this because God's Word says so, Psalms 107: 20 says "He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destruction" God sends His Word to people, situations and circumstances. He does this because He loves us 1 John 4:8 It is through people, through human beings that God gets His job done, His message spread and His Kingdom broadcast, that is why to minister to human beings, God had to take on the form of a man  John 1:14 When God raises an individual to do a job, that individual is empowered by God's Spirit to do what God wants Him to do, the individual becomes an empowered and sent one. It's with great excitement we announce that our church website is almost ready! To God be the glory! The inspiration received by the teacher and Pastor at The Light of Jesus Christ Assembly is to use every available platform to promote God's work among us, which is what we have been trying to do. Social media and the internet is the 'language' of this age and we have been using it to teach, and share God's Word and promote God's work. We have started off by giving our church an online presence and building it from there, from YouTube, to Facebook, from blogging to Twitting all is working together for our good, as they are all platforms used inline with our mandate of  'teaching God's Word and spreading God's light.

OUR CHURCH LOGO . what our church Logo represents : THE GOLDEN CROSS - The cross is the most popular symbol in the world. In our church we honor the Lord Jesus Christ. We have made the cross golden to depict the golden age of the church, we believe the church body is in it's golden age. We have chosen a golden cross because we believe in prosperity as one of our church's 8 core beliefs and that's what the gold color stands for. THE THREE FLAMES - The flames or fire on the top of the cross is symbolic of the nature of God as fire, 'our God is a consuming fire'. On the day of pentecost the Spirit of God appeared on the disciples as flames of fire.  We have 3 flames on top of the cross to symbolize one God who has the ability to manifest himself as 3 distinct personalities. It is lovely when God gives an ideas and inspiration & it comes to fruition.

For the body of Christ Part of the call of the hour is for the saints of God to return to a thorough  knowledge of God’s Word!  We can't take one or two passages/verses from the Bible  anymore and build a doctrine or church out of it. Our spirit man has to be well nourished in an understanding of God's Word. This is part of the reason we have many imbalanced Christians in the body of Christ of  Christ who are misrepresenting their Savior.  Jesus could represent the Father well on  earth because   He was the Word, He knew the Word, He was balanced!  Many believers  today do not know the mind of God because they don't know the Word.  It is not enough to be trained to pray continuously, we have to be filled with His Word so that we don't pray amiss. Giving honor to whom honor is due As a church ministry we believe in giving honor to whom honor is due.  This is what the Bible tells us. Romans 13:7 One of the ways we do this is by supporting certain ministries we believe in, ministries who have a track record of service to God, to humanity and are truly doing the work of an evangelist. Partnership We have partnered with these ministries so that they can continue to do what God has called them to do. And we will continue to do so until God tells us otherwise.  In partnering with these blessed ministries, we are blessed in return as a church body. As we partner with them, we trust God that God will raise partners who will partner with us to, to support God’s work going on here. It works as a cycle of blessing! Our Church Logo is being designed. The picture above is a sketch of what the church logo will look like, this is not the finished work, lol! but we are excited to show it to you now because it will soon become a part of our history.  In the near future it will be a joy to ponder on the early days, that's why a sketch like the one above will be invaluable. The Nation Of Israel Dear Friends, As followers of Jesus Christ we have a responsibility to pray for the nation of Israel, in other words we should be spiritual allies to that nation. Dear Friend, The Bible says ‘wisdom is the principal thing, and with all our getting we should get understanding’ (Proverbs 4:7) I believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word to us and if God feels we need to get wisdom and understanding, then wisdom and understanding are subjects we have to look into deeply.  We need an understanding of what God’s wisdom is and what understanding is.  We need to know how understanding benefits us as people. The Word ‘principal’ means first or highest in rank, importance, value. It means chief or foremost.  That’s what it means in the Bible passage quoted above. Wisdom is very pertinent.
