Ring Of Fire

 Zechariah 2:5

Our text passage shows God puts a wall of fire or ring of fire around His people.

God is the ultimate protector.

God promises to be a wall of fire around His people.

If God is around you and yours, it means He has circled you and yours for protection and to defend.

Since it is a circular presence of God, it means every aspect of your life will be protected and defended.

God's circular presence with us also represents the covenant He has with us.

God's ring of fire is meant to be around His people, His chosen ones.

The circle is the symbol of the covenant.

This is why ribs are semi circles like, on the left and one the right of the human body.

When a right rib and a left rib are joined or placed together, they form a circle or a ring.

The woman was created from the rib of a man to symbolize the covenant of marriage with the man.

Genesis 2:22

The woman is the creation the man was chosen to get into a covenant of marriage with.

This is why marital rings are circular, they represent the covenant in a physical sense between a man and a woman.

God has a covenant with His people through the blood of Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 10:16

Circumcision creates something of a circle around the tip of the organ of the male child.

Circumcision (physical) was God's idea and instruction to Abraham for all males to show His covenant with Abraham and all children of Abraham (the Israelites).

Genesis 17:21-27

The sun and the moon have a circular outlook.

I believe this is because God has a covenant with them.

Jeremiah 33:19-21

They stay where God has put them.

Covenant people do not leave the place or path God has put them, if they understand the covenant.

Anyone who understands the covenant will respect it, anyone who respects it will stay where God wants him or her.

The sun and the moon respect God's covenant and don't move away from where God has allocated for them.

Jeremiah 31:35

When God is in covenant with you, He stays and He fulfills His promises to you.

Don't give up on God, don't give up on the promises of God, stick with them, and you will experience the faithfulness of God.

God doesn't only put a ring/circle of fire around His people, He will also manifest as the glory within them.

Zechariah 2:5

Christ in us is the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27

Glory and light are linked.

Isaiah 60:1

God will be the light in the midst of His people.

As darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people, there will be light in the camp of God's people.

Isaiah 60:2

Glory is also associated with wealth, in these dark times God's people should flourish economically.

Isaiah 60:5

God has His covenant presence with His people just as the mountains surround Jerusalem.

Psalm 125:2

God also depicts His favor as circular/ring-like around His people.

Psalm 5:12

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
