John 6:1-13 Our text passage is very insightful. It gives us insights into the kind of man Jesus Christ was/is, the kind of heart He has, and His solution to difficult situations. Jesus was a problem solver when He walked the earth as a man. He used His ability to teach and work miracles to solve people's problems. In our text passage account, Jesus was faced with what seemed like a daunting task, a huge challenge for mere men to overcome when a crowd of over five thousand people were before Him- men, women, and children who needed to be fed. Feeding them would have been easy if there was enough resources to feed them and if they were at a location where food could be bought. The situation didn't look favorable. Fortunately, it's Jesus Christ we are talking about here. He was no ordinary man. When we involve God, unfavorable scenarios, unfavorable circumstances, and unpleasant situations do not count.
