Encounters For The Latter Times

 Judges 6

There are encounters in the kingdom of God you are meant to have as a member of God's family.

Luke 12:32

There are kingdom encounters you can have that will make a positive difference to you and those connected to you.

These encounters can come as an answer to prayer.

Judges 6:6-11

These kingdom encounters strengthen us spiritually, enlighten us, direct us, reveals things to us, and empower us for destiny.

God's kingdom is a realm of destiny, glory, and encounters.

A young man named Gideon had one of such encounters and it revealed his true identity.

It made him rise up from obscurity into his God appointed assignment and leadership.

Judges 6:11-16

Moses, after forty years as a shepherd in the wilderness looking after his father in-law's flock had such an encounter which revealed  his potential, helped his confidence, and put him in his God ordained office as a prophet and deliverer.

Exodus 3:1-20

One kingdom encounter is enough to put you on a path of continuous usefulness and fruitfulness for God.

John the beloved, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, had a kingdom encounter on the island of Patmos where he had been banished to.

What should have been a regrettable punishment for Apostle John- an isolation and lock down, became one of the most useful periods of his life and ministry, a fruitful season for him. The book of Revelation was given to him.

Revelation 1:1-12

In this season of isolation and lock down in the world, imagine what a kingdom encounter can do for you.

Imagine the ministries that can be birthed, the businesses that can materialize, the books that can be written during these difficult times in the world due to kingdom encounters taking place in the lives of God's people.

A kingdom encounter can take the form of Jesus appearing to a person or people.

Luke 24:36-49

It can take the form of a manifestation of God's Spirit.

Joshua 5:13

It can be an angel(s) of God manifesting to you.

Luke 1:26-38

It can occur through God given dreams.

Genesis 28:10-17

It can happen by God inspiring your spirit.

Job 32:8

It can also happen by God sending a ministry gift specifically to a person or people.

Psalm 105:17, Genesis 45:8

Kingdom encounters change us for the better.

They are setups that bring a positive twist to our lives.

Cornelius is a Bible character whose life and family changed positively after he encountered an angel sent to him from God's presence in a vision!

Acts 10:3-7

Be sensitive to God's kingdom and presence, seek the kingdom, and pray for kingdom encounters, be open to them, there is more to life and reality than the physical realm.

God has kingdom encounters for you!

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
