Believe & Hope

Romans 4:16-18

There is a lot we can learn from Abraham.
There is something in Abraham we must not miss.
Abraham is not our ultimate example but he is a good example to us especially in the area of faith.

We can learn from Abraham because the scriptures call him our father.
He is a father of faith.
Sons and daughters learn from their father.
Children learn from their parents.

What can we learn from Abraham?
From Abraham we can learn faith.
Isaiah 51:2
If you take a look at Abraham's life, you will learn a lot about faith.

Faith is connected to grace.
You need God's grace for your faith!
Faith makes the promise sure.
When you dissect the faith of Abraham you will find hope and belief inside it.
Romans 4:18

The belief in God that Abraham had powered his hope.
Abraham had a hope that was more than ordinary.
Abraham could continue giving thanks despite situations appearing like God wasn't faithful because he operated in supernatural hope.

Abraham's hope was powered by his belief in God.
When your belief in God powers your hope, your hope becomes supernatural hope.
It takes supernatural hope to hope against hope.

Supernatural hope keeps you on the path that will make your God given faith to deliver.
Supernatural hope helps you to remain positive when you should be downcast.
We must keep believing and we should continue to stay hopeful, this was Abraham's secret. This was Abraham's faith.
Romans 4:19-22

Believing and hoping produces faith.
When faith is at work, there will be results.
When faith is at work, there will be testimonies.
True faith is unstoppable because it has supernatural hope which is powered by belief, believing has it's root in grace, and grace is from God.

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus
