Open The Door

Revelation 3:20

God does not impose Himself on us.
God is not like the devil, He  doesn't force Himself on people.
Matthew 10:14

The devil doesn't take permission before forcing his way upon individuals, families and nations.
Demons possess people without asking.

God does things the right and legal way.
John 10:2,3
The devil does things the illegal way.
John 10:1
God comes into peoples lives and situations through the door of our hearts.

Satan doesn't knock on the door, he doesn't need your consent; he scales the fence.
Among the many virtues and attributes of God, God can be likened to a gentleman.
John 10:3
Satan is a crook and ruffian.
Satan and his demons don't lead people they possess people.

Everything in life - spiritual and physical has an entrance point.
The entrance point to a country is it's airports.
The entrance point to a home is it's front door.
The entrance point to a city is the city gate or toll gate.
You also have an entrance point into your life which is the 'door' of your heart.
This is why we have to guard our heart, the door of our heart should not be opened to everything and everyone.
Jesus comes into a life through the door of our heart.
He comes to enrich, bless, favour, distinguish and save lives.
He does this with your cooperation.
You have to be willing to open the door of your heart for Jesus to come in.
He knocks on the door of our hearts, He doesn't force Himself in.
He knocks knowing and hoping you will open the door.
He knocks believing you can hear His knock on the door of your heart.

How does He knock on the door of our heart?
1) By His Word - Acts 2:38, Luke 11:28
2) By His Spirit - Hosea 2:14
3) Through His messengers - Malachi 3:1
4) Through dreams & visions - Genesis 15:1, Genesis 46:2
5) Supernatural encounters - Acts 9:1-9
6) Angelic visitations - Acts 10:3,4
7) Divine love and compassion - Hosea 11:4

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
