A King is the head of a Kingdom, a territory. Isaiah 9:7
Kings are responsible for the welfare and protection of those in their territory. John 18:9
Jesus is called the Lion of the tribe of Judah. There is a lion nature in Jesus.
So there are some characteristics and qualities that lions have that we can associate with God, with Jesus Christ!
Jesus wants to protect you as the great Lion. Luke 17:1,2
1) Lions are strong: Jesus is strong! God is strong.
God can use His strength to protect you.
Proverbs 30:30
Judges 14:18
2) Lions are frightening: the anger of God chases the devil, his demons and agents away.
Amos 3:8
God can protect you by frightening your enemies away.
3) Lions are destructive: God can destroy spirits and humans beings.
He can use His destructive might to tear spirits and human beings apart. He can use his destructive might to protect you. 1 Samuel 17:34
4) Lions are territorially protective: if you are God's child He will be committed to protecting you.
Isaiah 31:4
5) Proud Of Their Family: the family of a lion is called pride..
It is called a lion's pride because lions are proud of their family and they protect them.
In the Kingdom of God, God is proud of His heavenly and earthly family.
God boasts about His children. Job 1:8
This is why you musn't let God down.
Just like the earthly lion protects it's family that it is proud of, God protects you if you're from His family.
Isaiah 31:4
6) Lions are bold: Lions are very bold.
Lions are not afraid of the other animals or people.
2 Samuel 17:10
God is very bold, and knows no fear!
God is not intimidated by your enemies.
God is not afraid to confront your enemies to protect you.
7) Lions co-operate: they hunt in groups as a family.
The male lions uses it's great roar to scare the pray in the direction where the female lion is hiding since the male lion is not as great a hunter as the female lion.
God wants to cooperate with you.
You should cooperate with God. Isaiah 1:18
You cooperate with the Lion of the tribe of Judah by obedience, prayer, and operating in divine understanding.
