Succeeding Through Prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
1 John 5:14
Philippians 4:6-7

God's help results in success. 2 Chronicles 26:11-15
God wants His children to succeed.
The Bible is full of evidence that God wants His children to succeed. Psalm 1 and Joshua 1:8

The success of God's children glorifies God. Isaiah 49:3-8
God knows when His children succeed in every area that pertains to their life, He gets the glory, because He gets the glory He is committed to your success. Isaiah 42:8

Success is fine, attractive and compelling.
The desire in human beings to succeed is divine! God put that innate desire in you because humanity was created to succeed. Man was not meant to know what failure was.
Human nature is attracted to success because success is our birth right and God's original plan for man. Genesis 1:27-30
Failure was introduced to mankind when the devil introduced sin.
Sin and failure is still not God's plan for you.
Behind every success, there is a lot of effort, failure, disappointment, investment and work people do not always see.

Outwardly people celebrate, admire, identify with and even envy the success of people they know, but they don't know or see the price that has been paid.
Do people see or understand the price Jesus paid?
Christianity is the biggest faith in the world but someone paid a price for that success.
The disciples of Jesus Christ committed their time, energy, and shed their blood for the propagation of the gospel. That is a great price!
There are many modern day martyrs who have died for the gospel, and paid the price for the gospel and the Bible to be made available in parts of the world where it would have been forbidden.

There is something we can also do to succeed.
It is not the only thing we should do to see success but it's one of the major requirements.PRAYER.
Prayer is a vital requirement for the success of the Christian. Prayer helps us stay sensitive to God.

Prayer helps us succeed because:
1) It helps us stay connected to Jesus - without Jesus,we can do nothing. John 15:5
2) It helps us receive from God - everything we have was given to us by God, and everything we will need has to be supplied by God, so we have to pray. Matthew 6:5,6
3) Prayer can fetch us divine wisdom - you need wisdom to succeed in any area of your life. Through prayer you can receive divine wisdom. Asking is an aspect of prayer. James 1:5,
1 Kings 3:5-15
4) It presents us before God - and in God's presence we can receive fruitfulness and results. Jeremiah 1:11-12. God's Word comes to those who pray.
Fruitfulness is success.
5) It brings divine intervention - in our human affairs, there will be times we need God's intervention. When God intervenes, we succeed. 2 Chronicles 14:8-12

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
