  Matthew 2:13-23 Our text passage shows that the life of young Jesus was spared through a divine instruction. God instructed Joseph the husband of Mary the mother of Jesus to move his young family to a place of safety when Herod the king was after Jesus's life. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph benefitted from  divine instructions. Perhaps there would have been no Savior to redeem us if that divine instruction was not given by God through His angel in Joseph's dream to take Jesus and His mother to Egypt.
