Exodus 28:2 In the old testament the priests of God were arrayed in robes that were glorious and beautiful. The purpose of these unique robes was to make them (priests) distinct from the other children of Israel. The priestly garment was something of a glorious uniform priests wore which reveals they are set apart, called and distinguished for God's service.
