Your Garment Of Fire!

Luke 3:16

Fire is an attribute of God.
Our God is a consuming fire.
Hebrews 12:29

As people created in the image and likeness of God you should be fire too, spiritually you should be wrapped in the fire of God.
Genesis 1:26

The Holy Spirit is associated with fire.
The Holy Spirit manifested as fire on the day of Pentecost.
Acts 2:1-4

Jesus is described as one who baptises in fire.
John the Baptist came baptizing with natural water, Jesus Christ who is greater than John the Baptist came baptizing with something greater - spiritual fire!
When the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Jesus Christ) baptizes with power, He comes engulfing or dressing up the individual in a garment of fire.
That's what happened on the day of Pentecost.
Those is the upper room were dressed up in garments of fire though its only flames/tongues that were seen on the heads of those present.
Their bodies were clothed in the fire as well!

Your garment of fire is an empowerment.
Acts 1:8
It empowers you for kingdom exploits.
It empowers you to confront the enemy and the evil system of this world.
Acts 17:1-6
It makes you God-like/Christ-like.
Acts 4:13
It empowers you for effective evangelism.
Acts 1:8

If today's church (the body of Christ) is going to be effective in these times it will have to capture the glory of Pentocost again which was a baptism of fire.
Acts 2:1-4
The baptism of fire was predicted by John the Baptist.
The baptist of fire is a work of the Holy Spirit that cloths you with fire.

In the spirit realm we have garments.
These garments have different purposes.
Each spiritual garment is a work of God.
In Zachariah 3, we see angels removing a filthy garment off Joshua the high priest of God.
The purpose of this filthy garment is to mess up the life and work of Joshua the high priest.
The filthy garment is a counterfeit garment of Satan to spoil your testimony.

When you are clothed with the garment of fire, the enemy will not be able to put a filthy garment on you.
The garment of fire is part of God's glory in your life.
Exodus 24:17

Your Father Hears

Matthew 6:5,6 Prayer should be directed to the Father. Jesus showed this when He taught His disciples the Lord's prayer. It should be a great comfort to you to know that the creator and God of all hears you when you pray. This should encourage you to pray and keep praying. In our day to day relationships with people our communication will reduce towards those who don't pay attention when we're talking to them. The good thing about God is that He is never distracted. Know you have His attention when you pray . He can be communicated with. He hears, He created the ears. Psalm 94:9 Jesus encouraged prayer. Matthew 26:40 Jesus taught prayer. Luke 11:1,2 If Jesus prayed, you will need to pray. Why Should You Pray? *Pray because prayer brings God's intervention. Isaiah 38:5,6 *Pray because that's how you are authorized to communicate with God. 1 Thessalonians 15:16-18 *Pray because it is a major way of birthing God's will on earth. 1 Kings 18

The Importance Of The Anointing

Acts 10:38 The anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit with a person. The anointing speaks, the anointing directs, and the anointing teaches people what they need to know and do. 1 John 2:27 You need the anointing. You can grow in the anointing. It is also possible to depart from the anointing. The anointing won't depart from you but you can depart from the anointing. You should remain in Him. It is worth it investing time to understand the your anointing, growing in your anointing and obeying the anointing. As you get to know a person better by spending time with them, so it is with the anointing in your life. With the anointing, you can't go wrong. The anointing strategically positions you in God's kingdom and in life. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:9 Jesus had the anointing when He was here on earth. Jesus is our example of what our life can be when we have the anointing. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus knew His purpose. Luke 2:49 Jesus

Navigating A New Year

Isaiah  42:16 Our text passage above shows us God is the one who shows us the path to take and leads us in new directions. Your path matters to God. The way you you choose to take is important to God. Your steps are seen by God and ordered by God. Psalm 37:23 The year ahead of you matters to God too. Luke 13:8-9 Each year God has given you the grace to witness, experience, and journey through is another opportunity to be fruitful for God. God wants you to make the most of the year ahead of you to His glory. Human beings do not always know the way and path to go, we can be limited in wisdom. History shows we do not always make the best choices. The year ahead of us will require knowing the way to go, having the wisdom to make the best decisions and choices. Deuteronomy 30:19 To successfully navigate the year we need to stay in God.. To navigate is to find your way through, it is following the right path to a specific destination. Car drivers either buy a GPS/Navigation device system or
