Prayer and Courage.

1 Chronicles 28:20 God wants us to be courageous. Deuteronomy 31:6 Courage, along with prayer are requirements for us to make the most of life. God has great plans for each of us but we will need courage to receive everything the Lord has for us. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Your inheritance, your portion in Christ Jesus is a lion share. God's plan for you is big. So you need a big heart to receive your big inheritance. You need a lion heart to take your lion share. Joshua 1:3-9 A lion heart is a brave and courageous heart. Lions are animals associated with bravery and courage. Jesus had a courageous heart. David, Abraham, Gideon and everyone else who has pleased God and walked with Him has had to be courageous at different times. We will have to be courageous to be who God wants us to be. Psalm 27:1 We have to be courageous to stand for truth. Psalm 56:3,4 It takes courage to obey God against all odds. It takes courage to be different and stand for Jesus Christ. There

Prayer: Your fight Strategy

Ephesians 6:12 The Bible uses words like fight, contend and wrestle when it refers to the believer's battles. Life is a fight. Life is a wrestle to fulfill God's plan and destiny for our lives. Every hero of faith had a fight on their hands and they all had key enemies who wanted to stop them.  Eg. Gideon had the Amalekites, David had the Philistines,, Samson had the Philistines, Nehemiah had Samballat and Tobia, Jesus Christ has the Pharisees and religious authority of his day. Everyone and everything God loves attracts Satan.  Job 1:8-12 Life becomes a fight because you have an adversary who is intimidated and upset you are on the side of the Lord.  1 Peter 5:8 Your adversary is not a human being though he uses human beings.  Revelation 12:7-9 There are human beings who make themselves available for God to use, there are also those who make themselves available for Satan to use.  Exodus 22:18 You are the one who determines who you will allow to use you.  Joshua 2

Laugh Out Loud.

Psalm 2:4 Joy should be your portion as a child of God. You should have joy and know joy not because you don't face challenges but because the joy producer lives on the inside of you. James 1:2-3 Joy will make you laugh. Genesis 18:12-15 You should laugh because your heavenly Father is laughing. Psalm 2:4 You should laugh because you have the gospel which is good news. Isaiah 61:1 You should laugh because you are a son and daughter of God. John 1:12 You should laugh because God is dealing with your unrepentant enemy. Laughter is a product of joy! God is your joy, for this reason you should be joyful. If you can laugh in the face of adversity you have won over that difficult situation. If you have joy and maintain your joy while the enemy is at work, victory will be yours. God is a God who laughs. God isn't intimidated by anything or what what you're going through. God laughs because His children make Him happy. God laughs because joy proceeds from Him. G

Prayer and Opportunities

1 Corinthians 16:9 Prayer can create opportunities. Prayer can open doors that had been closed. Not only does prayer create opportunities, prayer is an opportunity. Prayer is your opportunity to : 1) Reason with God. Isaiah 1:18 2) Negotiate with God. 1 Samuel 2 3) Tap into the supernatural. James 5:17 4) Receive from God. 1 Chronicles 4:10 5) Communicate with the creator. Luke 11:2 Jabeez used prayer to change his status in life, he made good use of the prayer opportunity. When God's people start seeing prayer as an opportunity, we will take better advantage of our chances to pray. Many people see it as a rare opportunity when they meet famous, rich people, royals and celebrities. We take pictures with them, we don't miss the chance to take their autographs or number if possible. How much more the creator of all, how much more the Father of all Spirits? It is a privilege to talk to Him in prayer, it is a great opportunity to meet Him in the place of prayer.

Tragedy, Temptation and Triumph

Life is a battle. Ephesians 6:12 We need to understand life is a battle. It requires positioning ourselves properly, mapping out the right strategies and developing the right mindset. In every war or battle, there are tragedies. Battles do not respect the status of men. In every war or battle both good and bad men die, soldiers of great standing fall, and brilliant fighters can end tragically. That is what life is like. Good men die, bad men pass on, good men make it, bad men also survive battles. Tragedy can befall a person in life whether you are good or bad. Temptation comes to all men in this life. Christian or not you will face temptation. In a war or battle, sometimes an opponent will set traps to defeat or capture their enemy. In life, our enemy the devil also sets traps to defeat us. Temptations are the traps of Satan for us on the battlefield of life. Revelations 12:11 With every trap of temptation, God makes a way of escape for us. 1 Corinthians 10:13 It is G

Prayers and Vows

Job 22:27,28 Vows are powerful things. God takes vows seriously. Deuteronomy 23:21-23 Heaven acknowledges and backs up our vows. Numbers 30:2 Prayer is also powerful! Vows and prayer work together. A vow is a promise an individual or a group of people make to God. If you make a vow to God make sure you keep it. Proverbs 20:25 Vows bring us into individual covenants with God. Vows are serious things before God because God does not joke with covenants. Ecclesiastes 5:4-8 When covenants are made between God and a men, God will always do His part, it is men who have to make sure they are faithful. Psalm 89:34 God will always be faithful, faithfulness is His very nature. We make vows to God through prayer. 1 Samuel 1:10-11 A vow takes effect when we negotiate with God in the place of prayer to do something for the Lord or meet a need God has on earth with the belief that God will meet our own needs to. When a vow is accepted, prayer gets a quick answer. 1 Samuel 1:20. G
