YOUR PRAYER & YOUR VISION.

How well do you 'see' ? Jeremiah 1:11,12 What I mean by vision for this message is how we 'see'. How we see ourselves matters a lot. How we see situations and circumstances go a long way to our receiving the answers to our prayers. Matthew 13:16 Your personal vision of yourself will determine your thoughts and your confession about yourself. Genesis 17:4-8 Your confessions or words about yourself will either help you receive the answer to your prayers or cancel what you have been praying about. Joel 3:10 Our confession after our prayers is a reflection of our faith. You can't separate your words from your faith. Our vision of ourselves, our self image should come from God's Word which is truth not any other place. To have the correct vision of yourself, to have a healthy self-image, pick your beliefs from the Word of God. What does the Bible say about you? Here are some of them: *You are a King and priest - Revelation 5:10 *You are strong - P

BLESSINGS & PRAYER

Genesis 1:28 Blessings are God's idea. Genesis 2:3 Blessings are not Satan's idea or any man's idea. No man has a right to your blessings. No evil Spirit or fallen angel has a right to your blessings. It's not theirs and they did not create it. They are illegal in your life if your in Christ. Prayer is communication with God. Through prayer we tap into God's blessings. Our blessings start in the Spirit realm before they manifest as tangible realities. Ephesians 1:3 Through prayer you can touch the heart of God and connect to what is yours in Christ Jesus.  Psalm 16:11 So there is a link between our prayers and our blessings. Satan has no true blessings to give, he is a deceiver and a liar. John 8:44 In the beginning, when God was blessing and creating, where was Satan? So it's foolishness to leave the true God who blesses and begin to follow Satan who has nothing to offer but deceit. King Solomon tapped into God's blessings through pray

What To Expect When You're In Christ

Psalm 62:5, Jeremiah 29:11 Our expectation as followers of Jesus is very important. Our expectation is our hope. Our hope will not be dashed because it is not false hope but hope rooted in an unshakeable faith in God. Proverbs 10:28 We can expect and hope for great things in Christ Jesus because there are many great promises for us in God's Word. God's grace has made this possible. 2 Peter 1:4 We can expect wonderful things from God because of who God is. God is faithful and merciful. Lamentations 3:22-23 Let's not settle for less than the best as individuals and as a ministry. John 2:10,11 We can expect God's bestbecause we are heirs of God. We are sons and daughters of God and webare entitled to the best our Father has. Romans 8:17 We must not cheat ourselves and we must not let the devil cheat us. We cheat ourselves when we settle for less than the best. We cheat ourselves when we don't put our best foot forward in all we do. We cheat ourselves wh

What God Needs From You.

Psalm 50:12 What do you offer a God who owns everything? This is our Month of grace and by God's grace we will enjoy God's grace this Month and beyond. We have learn't that grace brings to us what we do not deserve from God. It's by God's grace we receive from Him. The idea of receiving from God is exciting. We all want to receive from God because we all have various needs. We need many things from God. But how many of us think of what God needs from us? Romans 3:10-12 God has needs to. God created you to meet certain needs He has. Revelation 4:11 When we meet those needs it brings God pleasure. There are things we should be doing for God to meet His needs. Ephesians 2:10 Every morning when you wake up ask God what you can do for Him. Find out His heart for you each day. We are created for God's pleasure. So there are pleasures your life is supposed to bring to God. Our lives are meant to please God. There are some things God can't do f

True Faith, True Prayer

Romans 10:17 What you hear determines what you have faith for. Your faith plays a very important role in your prayer life. Your faith will make your prayer pleasing to God. Your faith is a product of what you hear. What you hear will determine what you believe. What you believe can determine the things that happen in your life. We have to believe the right things. The right thing to believe is God's Word. Romans 3:4 What you have not heard about God's Word, what you have not been taught from the Word of God, you cannot have faith for. Whatever you want from God you need to have faith for it. Whether it's financial prosperity, physical healing, career progress, marital restoration, protection for your loved ones, spiritual growth e.t.c To Develop Faith : Read the Bible often - Romans 10:17 Meditate on the Word of God - Joshua 1:8 Ask God to strengthen your faith  - Luke 17:5 Listen to the right things : Proverbs 4:20 - Read godly books, listen to sea

Understanding The Ministry Of Angels

Hebrews 1:14 Angels are real. They are part of the grace of God to us. Angelic help and intervention is available for your life in Christ Jesus. If you have given your life to Christ, you are qualified for angelic help. Salvation is a product of grace. Jesus came to the earth with grace, and He enjoyed angelic help.  Matthew 4:11 So the benefit of angelic assistance is part of the grace we enjoy.  Psalm 91:11 Angels have a ministry to the saints to protect them, fight on their behalf, and take their prayers up to the Father.  John 1:51 Angels are spirits. They are effective like fire. They are part of God's family. Angels are for our benefit. It is to our benefit if we learn to put them to work.  Isaiah 45:11 There is a lot angels can do for us. They can help us in ways we can't even imagine because: 1. They are stronger than humans are - Psalm 103:20 2. They are wiser than human beings - 2 Samuel 14:20, 2 Samuel 14:17 3. They can fight our battles for u

A Different Kind Of Prayer!

1 Kings 18:41-19:8 A different kind of prayer will generate a different kind of result. 1 Chronicles. 4:10 Many people pray but unfortunately not everyone's prayer generates results. Daniel 10:12 Not everyone experiences the manifestation of their request in prayer. James 4:3 We have about 8 billion people on the face of the earth, a large majority of the 8 billion are of one faith or the other. But how many people of the 8 billion who are of a faith or the other are genuinely getting remarkable results in prayer? This is a call for a different kind of prayer. The Bible has examples of people who prayed differently from other people in their generation and got remarkable results doing so. Some example are : 1) Jesus Christ - passionate praying. Luke 22:39-46.He avoided distractions when praying. Matthew 6:6 2) Hannah - she asked for what was beyond her and her heart was connected in prayer. 1 Samuel 1:11 3) Elijah - persistence. 1Kings 18:41 4) Hezekiah - he

Understanding The Grace Of God

Ephesians 2:8, Romans 11:6, Romans 5:1-2 In life's journey you will need the grace of God. Grace is a heavenly quality and gift that makes our earthly journey worthwhile. It is grace that makes us become what we become, it is grace that makes us have all we have. The grace we enjoy will determine the quality of our lives. Grace and good will comes from Jesus. He has the power to make more grace abound towards you. Grace is what lifts a man up in life, grace is part of God's blessing. The blessing of God is an aspect of grace. Facts about grace : 1) Grace can grow  - the grace on a person's life can increase. Grace is associated with favor. Jesus grew in favor with God. Luke 2:52, 2 Peter 3:18 2) Grace is not equal - Peter denied the Lord Jesus 3 times, but he still fulfilled his destiny. By God's grace, Peter went on to become a foremost Apostle of Christ and a pillar in God's Kingdom. Compare him with Judas Iscariot. Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus o

Grace For Prayer

2 Corinthians 12:9 Grace is essential for success and effectiveness in all things. Grace is sufficient for all things. There is a grace for everything in life. There is a grace to go through and overcome difficulty. There is a grace for abundance. 2 Corinthians 9:8 There is a grace for hard work, a grace to labour. 1 Corinthians 15:10 Paul laboured for the Kingdom of God above all the other disciples/Apostles because agrace to labour, to work hard was upon him. Acts 20:33-35 Prayer is a type of spiritual labour. Prayer. True, deep, heart felt prayer is not always easy. It's hard work. John 16:20-22, James 5:17 So there is a grace to pray well and pray right. Romans 8:26,27 Grace and Mercy operate differently in the life of a believer. Both are very important to a Christian. Grace brings to you, blessings and abilities you do not deserve, while  mercy takes away from you the judgement and punishment you deserve. Grace brings. Mercy takes away. You need grace to h
