EAGLE BLOOD

Isaiah 40:31 Isaiah 60:8 In Isaiah 40:31, God's people are likened to eagles. In Isaiah 60:8 we see that we take flight by light. The eagle is a very fascinating bird. The eagle is a royal, interesting and great bird. No wonder countries like America, and even Nigeria use the eagle as a symbol. The eagle is the master of the sky, a prince among birds with the greatest of qualities. No wonder Jesus is likened to an eagle in scriptures. And no wonder the eagle is used as an icon by companies, kings, families and nations. Even football teams take up the name of the eagle. Many of the qualities found in the eagle are the qualities in Jesus/God. Deuteronomy 32:9-12 And these are the qualities that should be found in the followers of Jesus to. Deuteronomy 32:13 The eagle is an exotic bird that's known for speed. Blood is the fluid of life. Leviticus 17:14. Our blood determines many things about us, it determines our nature, the quality of our health, and the Bible say

UNDERSTANDING DIVINE PROGRESS

Proverbs 4:18 Isaiah 60:1, 2 In this ministry as we were inspired by the Lord we themed this year as our year of  'LIGHT & PROGRESS' Which means we are going to succeed by light. To make progress is to succeed steadily. In God's Kingdom light is associated with progress We see this from our text passage in Proverbs 4:18 Light represents everything that's good, positive and divine according to scriptures. When you have enough light in you, you will make steady progress in this dark world. When there is light, there will be progress. Isaiah 58:8 Light also represents God's Word, revelation, wisdom, knowledge, understanding or a secret that God reveals to you that others don't know. Light is a carrier of everything we need and Jesus is Light. John 8:12 What God reveals to you is a light God has given you. It means you have been 'lighted' in an area others have not. It is the will of God that His children make progress in this world the r

Understanding Answers To Prayer

John 14:13, 14 Jeremiah 33:3 You can spend your entire life praying, but if you do not know how God has answered you, you will miss your harvest. Do you recognise your answer from God when it comes? Acts 12:11-16 You can spend a whole lifetime on your knees praying, if you don't recognise your harvest, you will fail. Ignorance is a terrible thing. A story is told of a man who fell off a ship on the Atlantic Ocean . The man has a relationship with the Lord. But unfortunately he was ignorant in some ways. No one in the ship knew he fell off. He cried to the Lord, asking God not to let him drown. Shortly after his prayer, a man paddling a canoe rode by and offered him a lift. The drowning man declined the help firmly but politely, informing the man paddling the canoe that he was expecting God to save him. Shortly after a man with a speed boat drove by, and offered the drowning man a hand and a ride. The drowning man rejected the help because he believes God will not let h

THE MISTAKE OF JUDAS ISCARIOT

Matthew 26: 14-25 There are two major things money can be to you - 1) Your servant 2) Your God Money is one of the gods of this world to some people. People knowingly or not worship different things in this world apart from the true God, and money is one of those 'gods'. Satan is called the god of this world, and Satan tempts people away from the true God by raising his head in different forms and ways. It is Satan that makes people replace God with something else in their hearts. When something else replaces God in your heart that thing has become an idol or 'god' in our heart. Ezekiel 14:1- 8 That's why we have to guard our heart jealously. Proverbs 4:23 When money takes the place of God in our hearts it's called 'mammon'. Mammon is the god of the love of money. Matthew 6:24 Jesus said we cannot serve God and mammon at the same time. This is the mistake of Judas Iscariot. He wanted to eat his cake and have it, he wanted to serve the

NEGOTIATING WITH GOD

Genesis 18:17-33 Many things about the physical realm reflect the spiritual possibilities in the Spirit realm. Truths are parallel. This is part of what parables show us. Parables are fictional stories, that reveal a moral or spiritual truth. Jesus used parables to communicate spiritual truths on an earthly level. The reason for Jesus teaching in parables was to make deep spiritual truths, particularly about God's Kingdom easy for people to understand. If we negotiate in the physical realm, we negotiate in the spiritual realm to. Isaiah 1:18 shows us negotiating with God is possible. The word 'negotiation' is a word associated with business. Every child of God is a spiritual business man or woman. We are here doing business for God, that's why God doesn't take us to heaven immdiately we give our lives to Jesus Christ. Luke 19:13 God leaves us here on earth to use the gifts and abilities He has put in us. 1 Corinthians 12:7-8 And one da

Prayer: the will of God

Text : 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Prayer and the giving of thanks are the will of God for our lives. Thanksgiving is an important and integral part of prayer. Thanksgiving is not separate from prayer, giving thanks should be included in proper prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 Thanksgiving before and after prayer is evidence of faith. Faith according to Hebrews 11:1 is the evidence of things not seen. If you have the evidence that your prayer is answered, you won't have an issue with giving God thanks when praying. If we do not thank God it is because we are not truly confident that God hears us. 1 John 5:14 Confidence is an aspect of praying that shows we believe our God is alive and He hears. Thanksgiving is our show of faith that we have got our request. Thanksgiving gets us God's attention. 1 John 5:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Why Prayer ? 1) It is the will of God. 2) It is part of our devotion as christians. Colossians 4:2 3) It is a way of getting our Father to

KNOWLEDGE IS KEY.

Hosea 4:6 , Proverbs 2:10,11 , Philippians 3:8 We see from Philippians 3:8 that Paul placed great value on the spiritual knowledge he had. It is commonly said that knowledge is power. It is a true statement. What knowledge does is that it informs you, and because you are informed you are empowered to make decisions that are enlightened. Ignorance limits, knowledge enlightens. Ignorance keeps people bound, knowledge presents people with possibilities. Knowledge preceds exploits. Daniel 11:32 Knowledge is part of what God's Spirit supplies. Isaiah 11:2 Knowledge has a lot to do with determining our worth in most areas of life. Most successful people and companies know something others don't know. Knowledge opens doors the ignorant do not even know exists. Daniel acquired knowledge by books. Daniel 9:2 Jesus acquired knowledge from the Word and from God's Spirit. Luke 4:18-21 When you are knowledgeable, you will be prepared and ready. If people are destroyed

Prayer & Knowledge

Proverbs 11:9 , Hosea 4:6 , Matthew 22:29 , Matthew 6:9-14 Knowledge is important in the place of prayer. We know from Romans 10:17 that faith comes through knowledge. As we receive spiritual knowledge, our faith grows. It's spiritual knowledge that evolves into faith. True faith is always based on something, it's always based on spiritual knowledge. So knowledge is very important in the place of prayer. We see from the Lord's prayer that Jesus's prayer life is based on the truth of scripture. It's based on sound spiritual knowledge. We see from the Lord's prayer that Jesus teaches us to pray from a position of scriptural knowledge. Prayer is also being able to cast things on the Lord and leaving it there. 1 Peter 5:7 Knowledge is important to every area of our lives, and prayer is not an exception. Prayers prayed with scriptural understanding is prayer that's sending God's Word back to Him and His Word does not return to Him void. Isaiah
