As we journey through life, we will need training for some of the things we will have to do in life. That's where teachers, mentors and guides come in. God knows the importance of training and mentorship, and He makes arrangement for it.  It's part of God's blessing to us, when we have a teacher, a mentor or guide over us, who shows us the 'ropes' and teaches us what we need to know in the area where we need it. Mentorship gives us speed and helps us avoid mistakes we would otherwise have made, all the knowledge, wisdom and experience of the mentor is passed on to the protege to help the protege on his journey and assignment. Paul mentored Timothy, Elijah was a father to Elisha, Jesus mentored, trained and guided the twelve disciples until He departed from the earth and the Holy Spirit became to the disciplines what Jesus was to them when He in the flesh. The Holy Spirit is our true and ultimate guide and mentor Everything we do should be guided and direct

All through the scripture  we see men favored by God who had divine appointments. In fact all heros of faith in scripture had divine appointments of some sort, either with God, a prophet of God or an angel of God. Divine appointments are God's acts of love to certain people He has chosen for a position,a  post or an assignment. Divine appointments are events God schedules into the life of an individual that happens suddenly within a 24 hour period. It could come in the form of an angelic visitation, a prophetic encounter, a divine direction that leads to a blessing, an encounter with God or an anointing. True men of God are called by divine appointments not planned ordination services. Eg. Saul, David, Moses, Jesus Christ, Gideon, Jeremiah, Paul the Apostle to name a few. Ephesians 4:11 lists the various positions or offices God appoints His children to in His spiritual service, namely the place of Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Pastors and Evangelists, the purpose of these p

There is a lot going on in my mind. We are in perilous times, it's not surprising, the Bible did say such times will come and they are pointers to the end times we are in. If there is any time we need the refreshing from God's presence, it is now! That's why I welcome people to our assembly with the flyer above asking them to come for a time of refreshing in God's presence. They need it, I need it, we all need it. If we don't find time to renew our minds and get refreshed in God's presence   It calls for great wisdom to answer the questions in my mind. I'm a deep thinker I grew up around churches and ministries and I have always loved ministers of the gospel and the work of the Lord. Perhaps I should, after all I am a Pastor myself.
